Error installing updates ! please help

Hello,
I don't think i'm the only one who's living with the same situation, i've read few posts and none of them helped me solving this .

first, when i tried to update the game via the client, it didn't work,and i received an error , i tried again ,it didn't work !

So i removed the game,and downloaded  the whole game client (+5gb), installed it and no, it seems that when it begins to install updates
something happens after the 50%
i tried everything  i read in posts, i downloaded the game manually,then downloaded with the client, NO, it doesn't work
i  unchecked the torrent box, nothing, did the integrity test, nothing.
so please if you want to give me a download link, just forget about the website's mirrors ! if there's a torrent or any external links i'll try them, because i'm sick of downloading 5gb for the last 30 hours !!

and if WG doesn't care about solving this, then i don't think anyone will ,, everyone is busy playing this week end,and some people couldn't even install the game !

Are you even able to reach the main site? Forums is the only one I can reach. And WoWP is screwing up when I try to log into it. Before anyone asks, I have purged cookies/cache, have no mods on either game, AND my net is running perfectly for the other games I was going to give up for Wargaming.net.

I'm having the same issue, would like a resolution ASAP game hasnt been what it used to be and hoping they improved on that. If NOT may be a waste of time to fix it cause i wont be logging back in. TIC TOC

this isn't even the first time, at each update this happens !
if they don't resolve these issues, i'll just go reinstall old games,,

have you tried those links ? they don't work ?!

I have. I've even re-installed firefox and installed google chrome to try it. Nothing. I even tried hooking up my tower at a friend's house and using my work laptop. Nothing. Can it be that i'm using Windows 8 or Zone Alarm antivirus?

no, i don't think it's windows 8 because i'm running it too,
is it just world of tanks portal or other websites ??

Having the same issue.. Just installed a brand new drive now trying to install the game... trying the link hopefully that will work... I really want to play with my new solid state drive and i cant ... :(
So does anybody from wargaming ever read this forum?

Basically same problems... I sent a ticket, got their reply... here was my problem and their reply, and my response.
   When I try to launch wot, it is checking for updates, then soon a box comes up and says Warning the data obtained from the update service is incorrect, for details see log file.
I press ok, and wot window says Update cancelled, with a flashing red X. I go to close wot window and a box comes up and says, closing the window will interrupt download,,,,

I too have re-installed wot, same thing has happened. Wot worked just fine before 8.8 update.

Please send us your python.log and WOTLauncher.log files (sometimes just text files called 'python' and 'WOTLauncher') from the root folder in which World of Tanks is installed on your computer (the default location is C:\Games\World_Of_Tanks).
In addition, please compile and send us a DxDiag report file so we may get a clear picture of your computer's characteristics.
To do this, please choose your Operating System and follow the associated steps below.
Windows XP
- Click «Start»
- Select and press «Run»
- Type "dxdiag" and press "OK"
- In the appeared window choose "Save all information"
- After you've saved the file, please attach it to your reply.
Windows Vista/7/8

IF you would re-read what you have ask me to do above... then any clear thinking human being can see, wot isn't worth it... ESPECIALLY since I have been playing wot for many months, until YOUR latest UPDATE. updated yourselves out of a customer.

All the Wargaming inc sites except this one are messing up. They drop a packet when I ping them.

How are you downloading the game files? Using the launcher or browser? What browser?

at first, i downloaded them using the web browser, then tried the launcher,
now i'm downloading via the browser the files you posted, and i'll ost the result , thanks

I feel your pain OP. I have been trying to updated WoT since Wedensday, and surprise surprise, updater went wonky and failed to update the game. Tried again, with same wonky result. So, I did a complete uninstall of the game, including any %appdata% and %temp% files related to WoT. Did a fresh download of WoT installer. Cleared browser caches on all my web programs, IE, Firefox, Chrome. Tried downloading thru each program with the same result. The installer downloads the game, but as soon as it tries to install the game, I keep getting the error msg that follows:
"Warning

Click Retry to Reload
For Details See Log File"
So I checked my log, this is what I got:

As you can see, the bold part is what concerns me. Has anyone run into this besides the people who posted here? If so, did anyone find a way to reslove this? From what I am reading in this log, it sounds like the patch file is corrupted somewhere. I have tried every conceivable way to get this game to run all to no avail. SO thank you very much for your useless game WG and thank you for making me waste money on gold that I can use now.

Listen, your just telling us what WG has already told us in their canned Support responses. I have seen you post the same suggestions on a couple of other threads, if no one has said anything, they don't work. I am a software engineer, and I am telling you, this IS WG's problem, not ours, their files/update server are screwed but they don't want to hear it. I've tried different browsers, tried while disabling my firewall/antivirus. YOU READING THIS MODS???? YOUR GAME IS BROKEN. Might wanna light a fire under Support's butt.

OP, at this point, I'd say move on to other games, clearly WG doesn't want to hear, or care about our problems, not the mods, not Support, no one. You'd have a better chance of pissing up a rope than getting this game to run or a response from Support.

thanks man ! it works now , only after i've tried to download them with internet download manager, and they didn't work !
but when i did it with google chrome, and with a restart, and deleting thoses temporary files it finaly works :) thank you sir !
