Where did you placed your config? Old configurations should work fine in XVM 5.0.0.

It's our official support topic on this forums. We have not carried out here support earlier. Since the exe-files are forbidden on this forum. But new version of xvm will not require any exe-files, and now we can support here legally :)

You should rename your old config to xvm.xc (if it's not already renamed) and place it in \res_mods\xvm\xvm.xc

need help with xvm here.
my overhead markers suddenly isn't working - I get the default markers.
when in the loading screen (for a battle) there is no error mentioned - there shouldn't be as I didn't do anything with my configs.

I already re-downloaded and re-installed my xvm together with my other mods (starting from no mods at all except xvm) but client still shows default overhead markers.

using the new xvm with your existing/previous settings is actually very easy.. assuming you used the version of xvm right before 5.0.0, here's how to get it working (including efficiency stats)
1) download xvm 5.0.0
2) backup your current res_mod\xvm\xvm.xc config file
3) delete current res_mod\xvm folder
4) install xvm 5.0.0 (creates xvm folder)
5) copy xvm.xc that you backed up into res_mod\xvm folder
6) go to the koreanrandom xvm editor, press the Open button and browse to your res_mod\xvm\xvm.xc (the file you backed up, that was working in 8.7).
7) check the box for "Enable players statistics (global switch)" and press save.  overwrite your existing xvm.xc file
now everything you had setup in 8.7/previous xvm version works in 8.8/5.0.0!

Maybe default markers turned on in your config? Please attach your configuration, i'll check it.

When are we going to be seeing service record improvements, along with the Tank company info?

pretty sure I didn't do anything with my configs causing my problem.
however, a clean re-install didn't fix my problem so I guess its possible my problem is caused by the config so here it is.

edit: I just remembered that I did replace my battle.xc file with the one I downloaded.
when I checked, it has the default markers on. switched it off and my config works fine now.

To use my old config I had to bring it into the config editor accessed through the XVMmod.com page liked above, then save it, the version numbers updated, and it worked fine - needed no editing

anyone know if its possible to change the color and alpha of the "arty box" in the map (when arty goes into top-down view) ?
also, is it possible to add a cross at the center of the box ?

Hey Nooben, I see that test 3 is out. Could we get an idea of what was updated from test 2 to test 3?
