I went on an adventure this morning. I couldn't photo much because the place I went to is just a storage depot, not a research room, but tomorrow there will be more opportunities for photos. In the meantime, here's a teaser: http://imgur.com/a/AAfRw

So we just had our first look at the Landsverk drawing archives and it seems it is as big of a goldmine as we have hoped, we have just scratched the surface of what is there but this is some of the stuff we have found

Drawing for the hull of the Landsverk "Pricken" 30 tonne medium tank, we know this vehicle was to be armed with either a 75 or 105mm gun and have a top speed of 60kph from a earlier document

L-80 light tank drawing from the 1930s (we will have more detailed pictures of the drawings from this section of the arrchive tommorow)

Drawing of unknown armoured car with tracks

EDIT: Drawing of turret armed with 40mm cannon for the export L-60 to Hungary

We have quite a few drawings to post so i might aswell get started

Early drawing of the Landsverk L-62 with the same suspension as the Strv m/31

Another version of the L-62 with fully enclosed turret?, and no before you ask it does not have a gatling gun, its just a different 40mm

Landsverk L-63 same chassis but armed with 25mm autocannon

Landsverk L-64, same as above but with 20mm autocannon

Landsverk L-65 a version with a prolonged chassis and armed with with a 47mm autocannon

These were obviously intended for export as they have english text

Strange drawing of a early L-10 (strv m/31) with built in protection for the roadwheels

Early drawing for the L-30 (Strv fm/31) this drawing is however already known

This is pretty special... it is probably one of the earliest drawings ever made for the Landsverk L-60 and it has a lot more in common with the L-80 than anything else

Another early drawing, this time for the L-100

On that last one the big handwritten text over the center of the image says "Invalid"; in the bottom right it says "See new drawing S-159".

http://i.imgur.com/hwXUfpg.jpg is just a slick design. Low mounted and low overall structure with an automatic AA gun.

The drawing for the L-80 (same as posted jesterday)

Drawing for L-61 this must be what actually became the L-60 later on note the use of spring suspension instead of torison bars (which indicate this is a pretty early drawing)

Another later drawing of the L-10

Another version of the L-30 with the same strange suspension protection as the early L-10

This one is simply called Panzer-kampfwagen

Closeup of the L-62

Im not sure what this is but i think it may be some kind of improved version of the L-5

Again im not sure what this is

Same as above...

Late version of the L-100 drawing, this one most likely corresponds to the prototype they built (other than suspension)

Drawing of the L-60 close to its final design but still with the older type suspension and not torison bars as on the final one

Late version of the L-80 basically a L-60 with wheels

Drawing for the L-120 light tank

Ok so this next one was actually built in its artillery tracktor configuration

L-140 artillery tracktor prototype (later ones didnt have the wheels)

The same vehicle with german 37mm anti airctaft gun

And with a bofors 40mm

And finally a better view of the 1948 Lansen light tank

That is really all that was new

On the L-140. It looks like a lot more changes are going on then at first glance.

Notes:
The wheel spacing IE. distance between roadwheels.
The seating changes. IE. Drivers seat is also lower.

The distance between roadwheels and return rollers.

I think the mounting height for the gun is also lower on the 40mm Bofors.

Longer, overall, chassis.

No idea what the chains are for on the 40mm Bofors chassis.

I also made this

Also i drew up this as a estimation of how the proposed 22 ton medium tank could have looked

For comparison

I talked to Sp15 about this, but what does everyone think about fudging the Strv K a bit and making it a tier 8 heavy with the 20 Pounder type A barrel? it was intended to have the 105.

Strv K could get the historic Kranvagn engine power, with the Kranvagn getting the planned engine power.

Turret would be a Strv 81 turret. Suspension would be the same.

With all these new images, do you think WG will make the Swedish their own tech tree or are they still doomed to being filler for the European tech tree?

Pertaining to the European Tech tree, has a "minor axis" and "minor allies" belligerent differentiator been mentioned?
