I had problems with Gnomes for some reason. It said "problems with files missing or corrupted" I have ran Gnomes many times before and have never ever had a problem with it.  Here is a great sound mod with English speaking voice acting. Has a great war time atmosphere i.e.. explosions / Shots / hits / ricochets / arty rounds whistling over head / voice communications. It is called "Total Immersion Sound Mod 0.8.7"....................The 0.8.7 does not matter. Just retype the 0.8.7 to read 0.8.9 and put into your........ world of tanks / res_mosd /  0.8.9 / audio file. check it out. it can be found at "WOTmodsDL.com".
here's  something you might want to consider.......Just about every sound mod that I have ever down loaded and used has a "script file" In it. example:   Scripts / Items_def / vehicles / and every time I use that Script file I have to remove it because it causes my game to shut off., So I do not usually use the script file in any audio file if I can help it. "Total Immersion Sound Mod" has no script file associated with it and it always works for me.

I'll have to go back and look thru the thread. I saw where you were telling someone else about adjusting the zoom mod. I really don't like having to hit my shift key to get all the way thru my zoom settings. I'm used to scrolling rite thru to the highest setting. Concerning the newest version....I may not have......do you have a link you could post for me, or a web site. I don't remember where I actually found yours. And no disrespect to the other mod makers either. I know the amount of work that goes into making these mods and there is no way your going to please everyone with the outcome of ones work, but good job to all and thanks for making the AIO's.

While it "could" be good, I've heard there are issues with it, and of course, there would be missing sounds for the newer tanks if you use the older version.

Ya, I have wondered myself why they put all the various "script" files.
And see first post for my download.....

Tried that AIO sound pack and my game refuses to launch.  Launcher comes up and drops, no game screen.  Swapped back to the updated Gnomefather's guns to at least run the game :P find out that he has updated to 1.853.  After updating that I haven't had any lockups yet.  Yeah the forum thread you linked is one describing the same issue I'm having, I figured it was the mod pack since that was the response I got from Support...well, "you got mods, help you I shall not." was basically their words.

So in summary:
AIO crashed game on launch.
GF 1.8 allowed launch, but still locked up occasionally
GF 1.853 fixed some gun sounds, and no lock ups yet.
A lot of folks have been having this issue, some with mods, others without so I'm leaning towards a script snafu or file CF on Wargamings end.

Thanks,
Namo

Hmmmm, that is weird....  AIO has been reliable for some time.
I will check with RKphantom of AIOMOD and see what he has to say on this.
BTW, it's nice to know it's NOT my All Mods Pack that is the problem....  :)
Oh, and I know all about Wargamings statement, you have it right on.  :)

So Rkphantom of AIOMOD is saying this....

Quote

Memories sound mod is working with the latest Gnomes pack included.
Looks like he need clean his computer (game folder, or reinstall game), in other way how can be ?
Cant say too much about, because, for me is working perfect.
So, it's possible it's as I was suspecting, you might have some corrupt files or problem drivers on your system that's causing the problem, and like with the problem I had, it only occurred with certain mods, not all.
It seems for me re-installing my system, fully updated drivers seems to have fixed the issue.
So, don't know yet.....  I am double-checking with him the version #, but so far he say's his pack has the latest, so I'm leaning that you might have a problem like mine, simply system driver specific.
As I mentioned, depending on what I had installed, usually most mod packs, and then certain mods when tried to do myself would sometimes cause the game to go 999 and freeze.  Or while in the hangar for awhile it would do the same.  I then couldn't connect to any Wargaming IP, but the internet and websites worked fine otherwise.  Only a complete computer shutdown fixed the problem temporarily.
What is also interesting is I think the problem was related to one of the audo drivers/programs I installed.  I installed a bad one, uninstalled installed the older version that used to work, and that seems when my problem started.
Also, when I installed AIOMOD's sound pack, I would have the problem as well.
That's what we have so far....  Sorry for your difficulty.  Computers are often frustrating.

Added a Poll so I can get peoples input on how they prefer to play so I can choose the best "positioning" of some things.... namely the Armor indicator.

I will create other polls also in the future for various design questions so I can know what people like best....
My goal is to make the best mod pack of any that does everything useful and looks the way most would want their mod pack to be.

Alright.....  So, so far the consensus seems to be Full Screen for playing....  But, I don't want to leave others out, so I'm going to pose a question to the Full Screen users.....

As you guys have noticed, the black Armor Indicator box is not flush with the bottom of the screen.
Now, for those who play in Windowed mode, they notice that it is.  This is because when I first made my pack, I also played windowed, but have since switched.
However, the box seems to still look okay for the Full screen at it's current position even though it's not flushed to the bottom...

So, those who play full screen, do you guys like and are okay with the box where it is, or would you want it flush to the bottom and stick it to those who use windowed and so I'm guessing the box will be partially cut off for them?
Of course, maybe this isn't even true, I have no idea yet, but I think that's how it works with X Y coordinates.  I know I've changed them to where the object has disappeared completely.  Maybe I'm just overthinking, and it's just fine as it is?

So, just an Update to let folks know that I'm about ready to release an 0.8.10 CT version.... for those who like to play on the Test Server.

It looks like only one thing doesn't work, and that's the Messenger by Yasen Krasen, but the mod maker has informed me that once 0.8.10 comes out, he'll have it working almost immediately.

Happy tanking...  :)

Man....  They do these updates too fast.  Looks like the Russians have 0.8.10 already, which means we aren't far behind.  :(

I have ran into a very intermittent issue, after 1/20 or so battles the combined stats widget in the system channel disappears and I can not get it to reappear, unless I completely exit and re-open.  Clean 8.10 except for your premium hangers.

I seem to have lost max zoom with the update.

thanks for the mod pack

fwiw, i found it a bit too busy on smaller screen 1280x1024

especially taking hits in close, and on fire

think it's that center damage/fire indicator

Not sure what you mean?  Are you talking about the stats on the Battle Loading screen, and also in game when you press TAB.... "both" don't show?

Cause, it's a normal bug with XVM for it to not show during battle loading, but it still shows in TAB in game???  Please clarify.

Remember also that the Hangar's HAVE NOT been tested or updated if needed for this version yet.
