Is it me or do they scramble to nerf every non-russian/good tank? I know they are "nerfing" the T-54, but this nerf includes a 10% longer track repair time, slightly easier to track-tracks, and an increas to repair costs... and that is a real nerf? Not really. Not where the T-54 needs it most.

And yet the ROF on the T29 is being decreased. So, while you're at it, decrease the ISU-152/Object 704 ROF, T30, KV 107mm, IS4 and... well half of the other tanks that are arrguably the best in their tiers...

The Americans and Germans are just not allowed to dominate any tier are they...

And I was thinking the T29 was my reason for preordering the game.

That was just added to the notes. No fix for t34 or t30 but they could sqeeze in a nerf for the t29.

The T-29 and T-32 are the only, in my opinion, the good ones. Nerfing it is just sad.

They didn't like that the IS didn't dominate tier 7 like the KV-3 dominates Tier 6 , IS-3 dominates Tier 8, and the IS-4 dominates Tier 9.

It's really quite sad-

If they keep doing this "nerf" the russian tank if it recieves 90% disapproval and nerf the German/American tank because it performs well.. I might quit this. I really like my pershing.. but I fear that my continual success against other tanks will result in a nerf.

T29 is the reason that American heavy drivers grind through the inflated M4 Shermans. (heavy tanks with medium guns)

It's not the M-4 Sherman, it's the M-3 Lee.

As a T-29 driver, i feel sad. My IS already has her perks in speed, slope, and agility, there's no need to downgrade the T-29.

World of russian tanks...

I killed a T-28 in a Lee once, so you might consider nerfing it too.

Good job wargaming  :Smile_great:

yeah, I killed a Maus and IS7 in a KV with the 152mm, so you might want to nerf that... wait a second... the KV is a Russian tank.

Nearly all US tanks are under powered or bugged. T34, T30, M26 Pershing, M12, T23 and so on. Now the T29 too???

guys stop crying, as far as I see the t-29 is a tank really hard to kill, when I shoot with my jagdpanther (same tear) only hear ricochets and dings, it is no fair, it supossed the jagdpanther had a 88 with real high velocity, that tank could destroy everything becouse could penetrate 237 mm, so where is the balance?

No one is crying any more than people complaining about KV's, T54's, IS4's, and so on are "crying" about those tanks being overpowered.

You need to learn to aim at their hull as I've killed countless T29s in my Jagdpanther.  The T29 does not need this  modification.  The American T34 is a joke of a Tier 9.  What this comes down to is, yet another non-Russian Tank that is too good and needs to be modded so that the Russian equivelant is better.  American and German tanks are not allowed to be as good or even better than the same tier Russian ones.  This game is a joke.

I'm just going to laugh when 50%+ of the player base thats active now drops off and disappears upon release or shortly there after, when they realize that:

1) premium is pretty much needed to play this game enjoyably
2) this game is nowhere near worth paying for, especially with the blatant nationalism going on by developers.

Oh nooo not my baby I love this tank even more then the T32.  This tank actually holds the higest K/D of my tanks and highest win%.  But its not that hard to kill if you ask me with its paper hull as long as you can get a hull shot in, or manage the ear shots on the upgraded turret you can put a hurtin on it.

How about instead BUFF the TIGER up to the current IS and T29 standards and leave those two ALONE.  FFS the T29 already HAS a ROF nerf.  WTF are they thinking.  The T29 is one of the few reasons I will be playing the game when released.  WTF wargaming?   It better be a paper nerf.

Is the T29 win % .00001% higher than the IS??????

Yeah I don't see the Nth America server turing much of a profit when this all goes live.  I DO see someone else stealing the whole concept and making heaps of a balanced game.

Irritation here is that there really won't be anything done in response to beta tester commentary.. I mean, it's not like we haven't played thousands of battles for the specific purpose of delivering feedback to be considered in development.

In response to overwhelming criticism on the server about the T-54 and it's various inaccuracies, glitches, and over-maneuverability per armor/weight .. the development team has decided to increase the height of the hull by 10cm (down from the original 15cm) which, for comparison, is about the the width of the INSIDE of the barrel of it's top gun. They've decided to increase the track repair time by 10% (which in reality means little difference between 2 seconds, and 2.2 seconds.) And they have reduced the track health of the T-54 so it can be tracked easier. I don't know about other players, but TRACKING the T-54 was never a problem for me, the problem was that you would TRACK it with a 155mm AP round (91 lbs of metal) and do no damage. (Oh, they also increased the cost of repairing it.. which means... ...   ...  absolutely nothing when fighting it in a battle.

I haven't seen any "NERF THAT T-29, it's so OP" threads. There might be one or two.. somewhere, buried in Nerf the Russian tanks threads.. just a lot of "I like the T-29, I love it!"   Well.. we can't have someone liking an American tank over the IS...

I haven't verified it yet, but I've heard rumor that the majority of tank battles on the Russian server are between T-54's and IS-7's (with variable artillery) which is great in Russia, if you're Russian, then you should be happy if your country's tank is better than the others, and why play them?

Bringing that concept to North America and Europe might deliver a shock. The battles will most likely still be majority T-54 and IS-7 (or tanks on their way to them) but the overall amount might be a fraction.

Billytheid, I was just joking about that with my brother in law on the way home after reading this thread..  I pictured a successful FPS or wargame producing company (Unable to name an example as possible forum violation) seeing the angry Euro-American population over the balance of the game and creating a counter-part just different enough to be legal, but more balanced. It would sell like crazy in the (much more densely populated) European and North American markets.

Ok guys, I just tested the T29 ROF at the start of the match using my cell stopwatch.  T29 at 100% crew with rammer.

It took 9.71 seconds so that is ~ 6.18 Rounds/minute.

I will update tomorrow and compare with the new (lower) ROF.

EDIT: Well, I think it's blatantly obvious that the ROF is now FIVE.  So instead of an average of around 6 RPM it is now 5 RPM.
