I seem to trumpet this a lot but you could try IOBit's Game Booster.  It basically shuts down all unnecessary system and service processes, so that your game has the maximum amount of resources available to it.

If it does the trick, then you know something running is causing the slow down.

At the bare minimum, you could try disabling real-time scanning of your anti-virus scanner (assuming you're running one).

I just got home and removed the drivers and then disconnect my internet, then i rebooted and re-installed drivers from the geforce webpage. and ran a battle below is the what i had the game settings at and a cap of the framerate at 9 fps.

okay, i took my pc completely apart and put it back together. when i was installing the cpu fan i noticed the wires were interfering with the fan blades. i then plugged it back in fired it up, double  checked to make sure all fans were turning. double checked for new drivers and i am happy to report the problem is fixed. i think after all that it was the cpu fan causing over heating problems.

Nice i'm glad you got it locked down :)


Nvidia had released a much better gpu driver update 2 days ago. I saw one person claim that his frames went from mid 20's to 80-100.
