I took a screen shot of my stats. I guess this would put me below average?

Watching other much better drivers play the tanks you want to improve in helps, can look at high exp replays or do a search on youtube etc. I know it's not as much fun as playing but time spent observing unicums in action can be as much if not more enlightening than learning through "trial and error".

But at the end of the day it's just pixel tanks and you should be allowed to play it however you wish as long as you are within the rules.

Makes every tank (including your tank) look like something out of a circus...
ugly, i myself used it for the first 200 battles to deal with KV-1s and T1-heavy fronts before i deleted it. Good for people trying to learn "special" (ammo rack positions, weakspots, etc) areas, but not much else.

Oh wow, that is really cool! Thanks for finding that. Can you explain what the WN7 and WN8 are?

I almost always keep watching the battle after I die. Unless I rage quit. ;) Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.

WN7 is a "standard" rating that most people use to judge people's skill levels, and it's important(ish) for getting into competetive land-owning clans.
WN8 is experimental, new rating system that is based off of avg. damage per tier (WN8) instead of overall avg. damage + kill count per battle (WN7).

I have been asking if there was a mod that helps identify weak spots or modules! I knew there had to be one. I use the meltymathmod but I only use the better minimap and extended zoom. I didn't want to try and mess with the other mods it can do.

Definitely a good match, though nothing I would brag about being you had to burn 72k in ammo to do it. If you know how/where to aim and who/what to fire on you wont need gold to get those kinds of numbers

"gold" round is 2,800
Fired 36 times
Spent 72k on ammo.
You do the math.

by gold i meant gold shells, not actual gold.  Either way you may be able to have great matches with it, but you are going to lose a ton of creds if you dont learn how to use the gun with standard ammo

I disagree on having to use gold to use the T14 well.  It's more a matter of picking your opponents and knowing weakspots.  When I drive the T14, I only use gold if I run into a problem situation like a T-150 bearing down on me.  All tier 5 heavies except Excelsior can be dispatched with AP into weakspots like LFPs, driver ports and machinegun ports.  The same holds true for several tier 6 heavy opponents as well.

What the T14 is good at is slugout fights with low-armor tanks with it's fast ROF combined with a decent alpha strike.
KV1 is very tough to crack with reg ammo

One of my favorites.
Very bouncy and gun able to deal with anything.  I carry a few gold rounds for KV-1 but otherwise rarely need them.  Something with KV-1 I always seem to bounce all over even though know what and where to shoot.  Other wise standard AP more then enough.
Got the Excelsior this weekend and as a comparison rather have the T14 any day unless need to train British heavy crews which I do.  The angle of the armor is its key sure Excel has huge armor on front and rear but its totally flat large as a barn and way easier to pen then it seems.  Didn't get to play much so opinion still forming but so far glad I paid 1/2 price.
Heck had so much fun with T14 gifted one to a friend so he could join me.
As for cost of gold rounds ehh stock up when they are on sale, makes tank rather cheap to run even with a few gold rounds used.  I try to have a stock of 100+ always on hand.

Only thing I don't like about mine is the slow turning tracks!
Compared to the Easy 8 and M4, the T-14 is so sluggish turning around.
Otherwise, I like the way it handles.

One game a conclusion does not make.

Thank you, Yoda...

The 14 is a pretty good tank, not great, not underrated, but it is easy on the eyes and wallet.

You are totally missing the point here.

No his point is very valid. The more you play a tank the better you become in that tank because you learn how it performs, you play it long enough you should see your W/R % go up and you start being able to carry your teams to wins more and more often. Hopefully this is that tank for you. But I'd do what others have said and try and be less dependent on Gold shells and learn to aim for weak spots more often. Once you learn then then you start only carrying a few gold rounds for those tough nuts, the rest of the time you make coin.

I have over 1k battles in my T-14 and rarely ever have to fall back on gold shells.   Gold may give you some great matches, but long term you will do more damage to your gameplay than you will help.   If you cant get the job done reasonably well with standard shells then you wont get the job done reliably with gold shells,  Especially when you move on to higher tiers.
