If you have a separate World of Tanks and World of Warplanes account, please read for details on changes in the account merging service.

Oh, hmmm yeah I can see that good Idea. There is really no good reason for people to have separate accounts.

If you use the same email and password to log into WoWp and WoT, then its unified.

Well you are taking away peoples premium planes according to the news text... according to the news text. If that's the case and I spent a lot of money on premium I'd sue WG

So... it seems like the wording might not be the best on this.  You're not ending unified accounts, you're completing account unification or ending the unification process as it will be complete, at least if I'm reading the announcement properly.

WG is going to stop manually unifying accounts that aren't unified yet, and will create a unified account for every account for each un-unified account. Ei, if you're playing with XYZ on WoT but with XZY on WoWp, you'll find yourself with two accounts with separate gold and free XP instead of one big account with shared gold & XP

The wording is a bit confusing - they're not ENDING account unification, you just won't have the option to combine your current WoT account and your WoWP account without making a completely new account [not that anyone cares about WoWP anways].

The wording is clumsy.
.
Their ending Unification, not Unified Accounts.  I'm not sure how to clean that up in a title though.

Do I still need a premium account to have these unified?

Thanks for the clarification, definitely seems like a better assesment of what they're stating that what I initially said.  This does bring up an interesting question though... I started my account on WoT with this name because the root (Battlecry) had already been taken by another player.  It was theoretically possible for me to start a WoWP account using just the root, even though it was already taken in WoT.  If an instance occurs where different players own the same account name on the two different games, I wonder how they'll address that (since the accounts shouldn't be unified, and they can't create the separate analog as it already exists).

Probably would have been best stated as "Changes to Account Unification".

This applies to accounts that do not share an email & password but owned by a single person to play WoT and WoWp.

If you've never played WoWp, then you don't need to worry. Same if you've played WoWp but not WoT. This usually applies to people who applied to Alpha/Beta using different names (because some people didn't want to be 'TankGuy1983' on a plane game).

Lets say ur wowp account isn't unified, you get your prem planes, and ur tokens are going to be gold now, and all that xp on ur planes is going to be turned into free xp. Say you have 3k xp on a F4U in your hangar, ur 4fu goes away but u get all the exp up to that plane.

I think that's what I understand. Some things transfer into english rather complicatedly.

Wargaming: Announcements so foreign and complicated the players have to spend days deciphering what it means.
