Just as the topic title says: in both my Jagdpanther and my PzIII, when I get tracked, I usually repair it with a repair kit which I've started to keep stocked all the time.

Anyway, I got in the habit of using it so much, I basically instantly repair but recently when I do it right away, nothing happens, I'm still tracked with the unfortunate side-effect of dying very quickly.
In short: if I use a repair kit INSTANTLY, it doesn't seem to do anything BUT THE REPAIR KIT WAS USED. (I click it and nothing pops up like I used it)

Sometimes I hit the repair kit at the same time that someone hits me a second time and tracks me or hits the engine.

i could swear i read somewhere there has to be a .5 second delay for it to work correctly. Either that or im thinking of the auto repair kit.

occasionally both your tracks are knocked out.... the repair kit only repairs one... if the other is still damaged/destroyed it takes time to repair it.

I get double-tracked all the time, it could be that.

I'm starting to keep FRAPS open when gaming and recording the odd game, so I may be able to more carefully document this.
I could swear though it is instances on single-tracking / non-engine shot but I'll stand fast on this till I have more concrete proof up or down.
