10 minutes a battle is not accurate.

Agreed.  I made it through 40 battles in 4 hours with a 30 minute break for clan wars last night.

The sad thing is that I was prioritizing my AMX 12t - always playing that one if it was available......and I only played 2 more rounds in that than my SU-100.  Need to work on my survival rate in that thing.

Hmm, I'm noticing that it seems completing the 100K exp at T6 goes very fast, in comparison to going from T5 to T6 in a grind. I'm probably just being psychologically biased since I love the T6s so much right now. They are pretty soft and it FEELS better watching your progress bar jump every battle (even when you lose). The trick is, to make sure you don't fall in the bottom 1/3 of your team or it doesn't count at all toward your goal, haha!

I don't play American units anymore until recently, so I never thought I'd be saying how much I love tier 6.

For today's log, I did ~20% of the Chinese promo, and did a lot of experimenting with other units this morning before taking a nap. I'll maybe do another 20% of the Chinese promo tonight, and then stop there for now. I don't want to complete it too soon, as I won't be able to take advantage of getting padded this month with the other bonuses coming.

I am starting to suspect that WG is going to wait until the very end before unlocking the Japs. Sorta wish they were available now but I expect I can get the Jap promo done in a single day too, so I'm not worried. I'm actually glad if they decided to halt it to the end.... adds a bit more anticipation into the mix :)

Sorry, failed to add the games together. I really did bomb out today, had so many 200 exp games it wasn't funny. Easily a 1200 exp average dropping the sub 200 games. :P

You're still doing better than me (not a big surprise), just glad you aren't doing THAT much better than me, it would be depressing lol

My advice

Buy atleast 3 tier 6 vehicles for a country grind out your 100000

sell them and buy three for the next country

rinse repeat

Granted I know the Chinese and Japanese make it harder

You need to finish a country then move on because you will earn 3 days premium for each country finished,  That is your consultation prize

This contest is a troll if they do not give enough time for the Japanese remember you need to grind out Tier 1-6 before you can even start it.

Well, I think a good player should be able to get up to T6 and also finish the entire 100K within a day. However, for some players not as skilled, maybe give em a couple days. If GW gives 4 days at the end, that's plenty for the final stretch with lots of room to spare.

I'm taking a few breaks here and there, but so far having fun playing some tier 5s...Think I"m going to start to focus on getting enough silver at the moment, I'm close to broke again, haha! But EXP wise I have been dominating this promo.

Ahh, funny story. 15 seconds after one of our North American server games started, many of us hit a 1000 ms lag spike. This resulted in both me and other mates on our team not being able to control ourselves, and we ran right off a cliff at the same time.  LOL!! [And we won it!] The things you can get away with on the mid tiers....

I just wonder if the 3.3k is a good idea because when the jpn tree come... it wont be 30 days left to grind 100k xp in that line... it will be less time AND only 1 tank tier 6 for the grind. Simple math.... 80 battles to get 100k. Each battle lasting about 10min... so its 80 x 10 = 800 minutes =~  13 hours of grinding. It will be PITA

being realistic... 100k/ 800xp per battle =~ 125 battles x 10 minutes = 20 hours.

Let's see, taking all 7 nations into consideration (including Japan) you need an average of 23k points per day. I am at a little over that, at 26k. As I have 10k on the Soviet Union, I anticipate to be have largely completed that mission prior to or shortly after the Japanese tree release. This would allow me to dedicate more games to Japan.

Also, I am on pace currently with just normal x2 daily doubles. During the x2 every battle weekend and x5 weekend I hope to get even more progress, as there will surely be days where I will fall off the pace a bit.

Even better would be buy all 35 tier 6 tanks and play the doubles each day.

Finished the mission. Played the IS-6 and it's actually not a bad tank, I was surprised. If you know where to shoot tanks and how to angle it it works well.

Some number crunching. I am including the games that I played where I was not rewarded any experience due to me being a scrub and not getting top 10 in xp.

Days to complete: 20

Total games: 705

Average xp per day: 35,000

Average games per day: 35.25

Average xp per game: 993

USSR: 125 games - Average 800 xp

Germany: 124 games - Average 806 xp
Japan: 114 games - Average 877 xp

France: 94 games - Average 1064 xp

UK: 84 games - Average 1,190 xp

USA: 88 games - Average 1,136 xp

China: 76 games - Average 1,316 xp

LOL, already have the IS-6........what to do now...no more fun for grinding for all that experience....

Well you could do it as part of your grind for tier 7's if you still need some of those, and use the gold you get (since you already have the IS-6) to buy something else.  Half a year of premium, or nearly any premium tank.  Same reward essentially, just in a different shape, and with one extra step.

I'm at work so my numbers today are rough rather than exact. USSR, 46k USA, 13k UK, 12k France, 9k (I only have the ARL44) Germany, 11k China, 11k (only Type 58) Japan, 0k obviously The Soviet Union is the easiest because I have all the tier sixes except arty and the scout.  Plus they are all good tanks.  The only painful nation so far is France.  I hope the Japanese tier six doesn't suck.

Russia: Done

China: Done

Next phase, is to wait a few days (until German discount is offered). And I have to work over-time at my job (Christmas rush). I'll probably get a few games in here and there, but that will just be my regular standard games.

ok, I have quite a few tier 6 tanks.  USA - E8, E2, Hellcat.  USSR - KV-2, T-34-85, SU100.  French - ARL 44, ARL V39, AMX 12t.  German - bought back vk 30.01(P), and got the research done for Nashorn and purchased that.  UK - Cromwell, Churchill GC, Churchill VII.  I am doing ok with these all these, mainly achieving my goal of 3.5K XP per nation per day with the daily doubles and a bit more.

China is the one I struggle with.  I have the type 58, but my stats for this are really bad.  I need some tips on what to do with this tank (crew is at 86% so not good).  I have the 59-16 researched but not bought.  I am really bad at light tanks/scouts, so still debating about whether to purchase it or not.  I plan on playing China heaps during the 2x XP days coming up.

Any advice appreciated on what to do with Chinese tanks.  Thanks, Jo.

The Type 58 basically plays the same as the 34-85, worse pen but higher ROF.  It's a flanker and can hold its own against higher tier tanks thanks to its mobility and ROF.  I don't suppose that really helps though.  Just keep moving and keep shooting.
