For Christmas I brought you this modpack!

This modpack is meant to create a minimalist feel which does not bombard the player with too much information, is noob-friendly, well-polished, and just overall useful in every way that I could think of. Note that a vast majority of the content in this mod is not made by me, I just assemble it all together and make the bits work right.

This modpack would not be possible without the prior work of Artasan, Locastan, Reco, RKPhantom, Jimbo, Nagatron, and whoever is responsible for the glory of XVM.

Features:
No intro video (XVM)
High-visibility railcars and dead tanks (RKPhantom and Artasan)
Vertical tech tree (Reco)
Jimbo's crosshairs (Jimbo)
Unlocked camera constraints (RKPhantom, modded further by me)
King's SUPER DUPER fire indicator (me)
Improved contours (RKPhantom)
Simple overtarget markers with winrate showing (XVM, me)
Damage Dealt tracker (XVM)
Damage Taken tracker (XVM)
Improved minimap, with draw distance box and gun constraints for arty/TD (Locastan)
No scope shadow (Nagatron)
Hit direction indicators (Nagatron)
Cap clocks (XVM)
Session Tracker (Locastan)
Custom 6th sense indicator (Me)
No postmortem tips (XVM)
Custom Garage (built off of RKphantom's garage)

Notes for anyone using this mod:
Caps-lock gives you the big map
Frowney-face by other tanks means they have stock turret
The stats presented are Number of Games Played in thousands and win ratio, both in WN6 colours.

WN6 colours are as follows: Awful, sub-par, decent, good, OMFG_go_outside_once_in_a_while

In DOGE teamspeak, we call these players "Ketchup, mustard, relish, (blue)cheese, (purple)onions". My burger always has too much ketchup, yours will too. :(

Doing something kinda special this time around:

I mulled over whether to route the links through adfly like AIOmod does, but decided on something better. So here's the scoop: You can donate money to my paypal account at JayEnfield @ gmail dot com . Any money that is donated in appreciation of this modpack (and previous/future iterations of it) will be donated to charity every Friday. I'll post screenshots of the receipts, and list the donators at the bottom of this post, and maybe do something special with my photoshop talent for some folks. Why send it to me first? Well, primarily because I could really use the extra donations being in my name so that I can get some tax reimbursement. Also, the Canadian government matches certain types of donations, which I will bias towards when possible, resulting in double money for the charity. So here's how it works. Send money to the above link, using the 'giving money to family or friends' option. Send me a private message specifying one of the following preferred charities:

*Canadian Red Cross Society

*Aga Khan Foundation Canada

*Nature Conservancy of Canada

*United Way Centraide Canada

*Doctors Without Borders Canada

Each dollar will count as a vote. So if I've got 75 dollars, and 40 dollars worth of it voted for United way, then the 75 goes to United Way. Or whatever. Ideally, I'd like to prove the concept and my trustworthiness with these small donations so that we can accomplish something a bit bigger later on. ;) I selected these charities because they're all highly efficient and well-known for doing great work (Notably, Canadian Red Cross does not have the history of incidents that have tarnished the reputation of the American Red Cross.)

Download Links:

Public Version (contains all of the above features)

Petco Version (contains overtarget markers that identify petco clans, and "battles played in tank" over all enemy vehicles, and Petco Garage)

[Possible No-Stats version later]

Install Instructions:

Same as this, but with 8.10 folders instead: http://fc09.devianta...jay-d6op2if.png

I am ready for your upvotes now:

Oh, and one more thing:

PPS:

Some people have insisted that I include "Downloading music". So here's a metal song with lyrics made entirely out of the names of other metal bands.

youtu.be/watch?v=6bKwflpbCYk

(Open in new tab if the media tags are broken for you, I guess. These forums are such a clustercuss.)

Donations:

Ivankk [RDDTX]: 5 USD

KenFlorian: 50 USD such wow

55 USD as of Jan 4 = $58.63 CAD. Receipt.

Canadian Government will also match this donation, doubling its value.

And it's up. I won't be able to respond to any problems with it until Friday, so I hope I beta-tested it hard enough.

I spent 91 dog-hours on this mod. I got 8,000 downloads on 8.9. Let's see if we can't get this sucker past 10K. ;)

Could someone link this thread into the Euro-forums? I don't have enough games on a Euro-account to post in their mod thread.
