If you're like me and accidentally forget to hit "Enter" before typing in chat sometimes, and as a result end up spamming chat with all those radial menu spam messages.....

Here's how to remove that Radial Menu mod: (i'll make it an optional mod instead next time i update the mod-pack)

Remove the following files:

  • "..\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.8.10\scripts\client\gui\scaleform\RadialMenu.pyc"
  • "..\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.8.10\scripts\client\gui\scaleform\RadialMenu.xml"

Having a problem, Deegie's sight cross-hair sticks, and does not move to gun position.

:amazed:...not seen that problem before, unless you experiencing server lag.

Try installing Deegie's sight mod on its own from source-link without any other mods and see if it still happens.

Updated OP: (http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/topic/314917-0810-paradoxs-modpack-301213/page__pid__6233060#entry6233060)

12th Jan:

Changed: Changed gun aim reticle for the Meltymaps one (not the whole UI...just the aim circle) as it has more info for shell penetration and armor arc. (Deegie's aim reticle in "Optional" folder if you prefer that one).

Changed: Changed server reticle to Jimbo's server reticle as its easier to see and has centre crosshair.

Added: Chat Platoon System for Minimap commands and F/Z shortcut commands (Source: http://theaces.ru/mods/mody-dlya-worldoftanks/interfeis-dlya-worldoftanks/536-vzvodnyy-sistemnyy-chat-dlya-world-of-tanks.html(Press "O" to activate it) (Not tested this myself as i rarely platoon, but thought was useful to limit spamming chat when communicating minimap tactics to platoon mates).

Updated: Tank view-range mod now shows the dynamic range limit circle that low tier Auto-cannon guns can penetrate targets. (Its a dark green circle).

Updated: XVM 5.0.2-test2 (nightly build: 3136)  (Source: http://nightly.modxvm.com/)

Changed the Radial-menu Mod to an optional mod as i found i kept hitting chat shortcuts by accident when i was using it.

To remove voice-pack delete the following files from "..\World_of_Tanks\res\audio\":

  • ingame_voice.fev
  • ingame_voice.fsb
  • xvm.fev
  • xvm.fsb

Then get the original "ingame_voice.fev" from your "backed-up" res\audio folder and put it back into "..\World_of_Tanks\res\audio\".

also delete:

  •  "..\World_of_Tanks\res\gui\sound_notifications.xml"

You're the only person i know of who has issues with voice-mod volumes of this pack. Tried turning up your "Window's" master volume?...:hiding:

See answer above if you want to remove the voices.

1. The xvm.xc originated from Anfields modpack, i made some small tweaks to it. (i never used an XVM editor to edit XVM files as i prefer to use "Notepad++".) http://notepad-plus-plus.org/

2. I think i can turn off the minimap going to center when CTRL is pressed.

3. The minimap circle range colors are defined in "..\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\xvm\tankrange.xc".

4. This modpack doesn't affect spotting tanks....either enemy probably got good camo crews/camo-net :bush:. Also, no-offence intended..but as you appear to only done 2k battles so far, you do realise a tanks stated view range is only the full amount it states when crew reaches 100%? (but XVM view range mod should dynamically show your current crews capable view ranges.)

5. I haven't noticed any shells "arcing" :amazed:...unless you using a Howitzer (those guns do fire arced shells).

No offense tanken :) Yeah I am slightly new to the game and no I didn't realize the 100% rule however almost all my crews are 100%. The ones that aren't are any tanks I just bought and since they are not Elite yet I try not to play them until they are fully researched. As for the sound issues, I did have my windows volume all the way up but after some tinkering I think my soundcard, at least indirectly, was to blame. I was listening to music at the same time and I think my soundcard was turning the volume of certain things down in favor of the music. I now listen to the music via a different source and it seems better.

The arcing shells I actually noticed at one time without mods too. I forget which update it was but my T18 which did have the Howitzer before and after the update went from straight line to arcing shells as did my M5 Stuart with Howitzer. Now if they have always arced like that then I must have been lucky because I know they had been firing straight before the update. Also, the arcing on that update was more like artillery than what they are now. However, when I was using your mod pack I was noticing every tank arcing shells, not just howitzers. I don't know maybe I am just lucky, I find the one in a million bug lol.

As for the XVM editing, I use the XVM editor because it gives me a good start and a way to visually see many of the settings. I have recently started messing with the files themselves as I do more modding. It is pretty easy for anyone with some programming background. Thanks again for all the work and help.

I'll try and do an updated demo video of hangar and battles in next few days.

19th Jan:

Added: Autoloader shells left in drum shown on ammo buttons mod.

Added: [0.8.10] InfoPanel  (Source: http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/263260-0810-infopanel/)

Added: 15m circle mod (Activated by pressing F9)   (Source: http://mirtankov.net/mods/11709-mod-nevidimyi-vystrel-iz-kusta-radius-15m.html)

Added: English Crew Skill Tips in garage 8.10   (Source: http://roughnecksxvm.forumotion.com/t471-english-crew-skill-tips-in-garage-810)

Added: Artw0lf's reticle with "Shell pen/Armor thickness". Outer circle covers 100% of shells fired and inner circle covers where 68% of all shells fired go.

(Source: http://wotmodsdl.com/mods/the-sight-is-showing-thick-armor-0-8-9.html)

Added to Optional mods: [0.8.10] White Dead Tanks  (Source: http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/242095-0810-white-dead-tanks/)

Updated: XVM 5.0.2-test2 (nightly build: 3147)  (Source: http://nightly.modxvm.com/)

Auto mount/dismount Binocs and Camo-net mod:  (4kb) (Forgot to add this to changelog last update)

It does this at the start/end of each battle, so you only need 2 pairs of each and saves loads of time mount/dismounting them yourself....means you have more time for :justwait::playing::bush:)

Please help - I don't see where, in the instructions, that it is explained how to install each "Optional" file.

Thanks!

I just start using this mod pack with 8.10.  Very hard to play without it now.  Excellent work compiling it, Paradox, and my buddies and I are eagerly awaiting the update for 8.11.

Same. Just started using it on 8.10 and find it really weird to play without it now.

To install the Optional folder stuff, open the folder for example "Optional\Auto mount-dismount binocs + camo (+ toolbox)", then copy the "res_mods" folder into your "..\World_of_Tanks\" folder.

-------------------------------------------------

Just thought i'd let you know i have assembled "[0.8.11] Paradox's ModPack" and i'm currently uploading it. I'll update the OP when files finish uploading.

I had to make a couple of minor changes due to one mod not being available for 8.11 but replaced it with an alternative mod.

Also modpack now comes in Deegie's and J1mB0's UI versions.

More info soon.

But...wouldn't doing this replace the original res-mods folder which has your other mods in it?
