.7z is a common archive type and opens with pretty much any tool like WinRar

Careful. There's a clause hidden in there stating you'll sign away your soul and your firstborn child to Serb the Satan.

Ive had for a long time a "tank inspector" app on my phone that lets me view armor thickness and such, called World of Tanks Database. But it Does NOT give me the effective armor values! Wow, this one is just amazing and I am so getting it. Thank Jingles and than the OP here for making it known \o/

I'm at work so I can't use this application here.  But as soon as I get home this is getting installed.  This is a must have IMO.

I have downloaded it, and run it - but stopped short of letting it open.  I have to echo Sgt_Kachalin's misgivings about the EULA statement (although I suspect I've already signed my first-born over to Bill Gates many times, as well as a number of other software companies).

Really, what stopped me is - why does this tool need to go online, and why do I need to establish an account for it to do that?  If the dev(s) are on this forum (because I'm not going to go sign up for theirs), if they can provide a satisfactory answer to those questions I may happily use this tool.  Until then, no dice.

i downloaded it. the thing is a 7z zip. install 7z, then open the zip file in 7z and copy/move the files to a new folder. run the exe, and create a free acccount with ti, and then after initial login it will look for your wot files to retrieve the list of vehicles. with the list it looks at the tank inspector site's data and shows you all the data. you need to use the ti 'look up' tools by entering at least some of the vehicles name and a list will appear in which you select the vehicle you would like to peruse... and whatnot...

its a 7zip compression and you can uncompress it using 7zip

http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

although i think most extractors like winzip or winrar will do the job too.

now this program is interesting but the only way they could improve it is making it so you can tilt the tank up and down to represent hill climibing and descending.
