Hello,
just read through the developers blog and stumbled across them mentioning the AMX 40, and how it was difficult to find info on, so i decided to investigate. It looks pretty sweet if u ask me.

IDK what tier it would be, but it has some nice Armour designs, as well as side-skirts to protect the ever important tracks. The rounded design logically would help with shell deflection, and 60mm frontal Armour is pretty nice on a medium tank, albeit that its gun seems weak, but it may be like the 52mm on the t34.
definitely looking forward to seeing this.
EDIT: oops my bad WOT classified it as light, in reality it was Medium can this please be moved.

I think you'll find this post interesting.
Armor-wise, by looking at this drawing, we find something like 60/55~70/40 for the hull and the turret seems to be around 60/60/60.

Interesting that it's called an AMX 40 the French also have a MBT designated the AMX 40.

Yeah, that confused me when I saw the tree, as the AMX-40 was a designed french MBT during the 80s with a 120mm cannon as a successor to the AMX-30 with 105mm cannon.
