Wishful thinking, 1.5k gold is Churchill territory.

could be true, but this is from the time u got free Gold. U just had to save a certain amount at 100 Gold per day, later increased to 250 Gold per day.

this was done so people had to choose saving for premium or a Premium tank.

buying an ingame Item at the cost of an almost complete game is not a good strategy. Even more so when Premium tanks can't compete with the Equal tier fully upgraded Normal tanks. they either have small guns like PzkpfW V/IV or are have decreased mobility like the Löwe, they maybe start out better but are over takne when Normals upgrade. :Smile-izmena:

they are collectors items and a way to get Credits or Xp faster.

my example was an estimate but anything above a months worth off gold is pricy if u ask me, and they could lose a lot of potential cashflow if u ask me. :Smile-bajan2:

From some released notes about 0.6.4, looks like the Lowe is 10,000 gold aka $40. Sorry, but that's 'I'd rather buy a new game for that price' territory :(

Orkel2 on EU server said:

Löwe is slower than a Hetzer. Around 24 km/h on flat ground. Weak armor for a tier 8, gets penetrated by everything.

KV-5 can go 39 km/h on flat ground after some accelerating. Insane armor, constant dinging.

Löwe has:

-better gun
-turns a bit faster

KV-5 has:

-better armor
-better speed
-better price (7,500 for KV-5 versus 10,000 gold for Löwe)
-more health (that picture is old, KV5 ingame has 1,680 HP)
http://forum.worldof...r/page__st__100

From what I can tell KV-5 has full Tier 8 protection, but poor gun; Lowe has a fully Tier 8 gun but poor protection; and M6A2E1 is somewhere in the middle.

For the traditional Premium tank credit-earning, Lowe's gun might be more of an advantage than it seems on paper.

Been Playing around with the Lowe on the Russian Test server. its cost is 10,000 gold on there, and it basically drives like a stock KV and accelerates slower then a Maus at times. The frontal armor is pretty weak and its gun mantle suffers like all German tanks. Though Its got a awesome gun, and only cost about 8k to repair it, but at the end of the day, i would rather a fully upgraded KT. Oh and don't worry about the KV-5 either, its just as weak, its armor stats are deceptive, but oddly enough its pretty fast for its size, drives better then a IS-4 but worse the a IS-3.

Cheers for the info. Can you tell yet if they've got much of a credit-earning bonus?

Not quite sure, my guess is its close to the same ratio all prem tanks have, but with the test server running on 10x its hard to tell.

My notes, the tank Lowe.

Rus test server patch 0 6 4

text from the image
"Lowe - love at first sight"

Spoiler
TTH
Spoiler
Stats
Spoiler

the cost of the tank 10 000 Gold
Comparison of the tank with Lowe PzKpfw VIB Tiger II Patch 0 6 4
on the gun in a tank below the rate of Lowe but higher accuracy, the same damage
on speed - here at Lowe tank is not as desirable, max 35km, 28km from CT, but CT is gaining it faster and goes steadily and Lowe gaining long and only 35km from the hill Cacti, Wed Lowe speed 26-28km - it's killing me .. going uphill 8km
harp turns the normally
mask holding the gun blows, Lowe keeps the body blows TT10
appearance of the tank Lowe - a beautiful, terrible
repair tank 15000

conclusion - Lowe same CT only with poor road performance parameters and beautiful appearance
conclusion - Lowe tank only for people with good experience of the game, the newcomers will cry
conclusion - Lowe takes its place in battle and has a strategy of warfare
output tank good TTX playable but ....
that would change - it is necessary to reconsider the dynamics of dispersal and make it something like a CT, the maximum speed can be 30km, but the good so that the road he was driving 30 instead of 27-28 with max 35
the output is - in principle, an experienced player, this tank is not needed, just for the sake of Pontus, and fun, at this stage of Tank Farm to mark good (great gun for pharma) (mk cost of repairs and patron of the tank are in the minus, if you compare with other prem tanks, the repair and the cost of cartridges for them cheaper here due to the low cost and they farm), we can not touch the tank's performance characteristics but also lower the cost of consumables, but otherwise leaves the same QD, and the question here then is the essence of prem tanks? for Lowe may be noted - a beautiful appearance, at the level of good performance characteristics 8m

upd
the most critical disadvantage for Lowe set the speed and movement in the mountain, I would like to revise for the better, let the maximum speed is 30km, but that he was going 29-30 this relatively stable and the tank will be well balanced Pts

upd
with excellent outcome normik brings
shoot BB bullets, with no extra rations

After playing the Lowe, I must said Lowe is a must-get tank!
It worths every penny...(even though technically I didn't pay for it)
But I'll get mine when 0.6.4 arrives to US.

Wargaming messed up by not having this available at release.  This week would be their biggest potential sales when all the people who didn't buy the heavy preorder package would want to get in on the early heavy action.  Plus it would have been more interesting having M6xxxx vs Lowe vs KV5 instead of all m6s.  It won't really matter that much later on when everyone leveled up higher tier tanks.  (I'm not complaining, just putting out an observation.  I wouldn't buy it myself)

Anyone know when this premium will come out? I really want it but don't feel like paying 45$ for a premium tier 8 that's 10000 gold. Think about it 45$ for a premium tank, that's just going too far. Premiums aren't as good as the actual tier and 10000 gold is too much, 4500-5500 would be an OK price though. I would pay it for that halved amount, however if the price stays at 10000 gold then i'm just going to earn it up eventually with the entire clan wars gold system.

I do really want the Lowe, even after reading about its huge flaws.
But they are still huge flaws...like why does it have less armor but weigh 20 tons more than the Tiger II?
Dear god it can't be that much bigger can it?
however the low profile (low lowe....lol) and the really accurate gun might make this good enough to buy, but not at 10k. 5-7k, maybe but not 10k.

I agree. 10k is like a new model, or at least 2 new games. Heres what im wondering:  A tier 5 tank(the churchill) is 1,750 gold. so, from tier 5 to tier 8, it adds on 8,250 gold. I'd pay 5,000 max for this tank, with all it's flaws.

Agreed, much moer reasonable price given the cost of other premiums and the flaws with this thing.

Looks like a gr8 tank but specs ....  ehhhh  ...and it does seem a bit pricy. I just hope they never make it so premium tanks are better then the 1s you grind for.

Could you imagine all the people running @ in top tier tanks with no sense of the game really just because they had the money to buy a top tier tank.......  And i have no idea why this doubled.....

That would be a bad thing?

Sounds like an easy target to me,
