Interesting. Just ran the same setup on test server sure thing it crashes. Did some debugging and found out its the

  • HR guns and HR engines

WG changed some names for sounds. Re-run the installer without the guns and engines sounds and you should be fine.

Specifically the G100_Gtraktor_Krupp tank had some naming changed and sound mods cant find it that's what causes the crash

Awesome worked for me, however still when ingame the multi lined carousel is off center and the last box always shows code. Any zoom mods also conflict with the new FOV 8.11 introduced so it kinda hurts my head.

Multi Lined carousel has a bug. The author promised to fixed it. As he updates it ill let you know.  With the FOW thingy I also hate the new one of the 8.11. I'lll give the option to get the old 8.10 FOV.

If I install some components to look at them and see which ones I prefer, will they uninstall if I re install with a different set - ie - if I install Jimbos sights to see them, then restart the install program and uncheck Jimbos and add yours will Jimbos be uninstalled automatically or do I need to hunt down the files?

There is no need to hunt down the files. All you do is re-run the installer with mods you want and make sure that "clean install is checked" then installer will automatically clean the res_mods folder to install the new ones.

First of all thank you for the hard work and time dedicated to making mod installs easy for the computer inept.  Here is my issue-

Did a clean install to uncheck xvm to improve my paltry fps. After install I receive the following error:

I tried renaming file with 8.10 name (it is 8.11 in drive folder) and the client loads further before crashing and closing.

NA server

Any suggestions? Do I need older version of your installer because it seems my wot client is still 8.10?

Thanks for support. You are trying to put 8.11mods into 8.10 Game Client. Mods are not backwards compatible. I removed the 8.10 modpack because the patch 8.11 hits NA tomorrow. But if you still need the 8.10 PM me ill give you a link on GDrive

Update: If anyone still want's the 8.10 it's here

This is looking awesome; gonna give this one a try. Especially the preview option is great. To me it's not always clear what a mod does and how it looks. So the preview options is a very welcome addition.

Thanks for all the efford you've put in (and still are ;).

+1

Not working, My WOT res_mods/ 0.8.11 folder is empty.  Is this right? thanks

EDIT: It installed a new folder " World of Tanks" and I found the mod pack. Moved it to the proper folder and works fine.  Thank you very much.

No! If you specified the correct path to your WOT folder it should not be empty. Make sure to specify the wot folder and not the res_mods folder or the 8.11. If it still doesn't work create an empty folder on your desktop, tell the installer to install mods there and after it's finished drag everything from that folder to the WoT folder.
