After trying a lot of mods, I'm using yours now and I love it.  Especially your xvm config with the dots and bars.

I have one change I think I can make myself but don't know where/what to edit:

1. I'd like my hit damage on the target to be in yellow text and BIG instead of white text and small -- I find myself peering intently at the target after a shot trying to discern how effective I was. How would I change this myself?  Edit: I discovered the xvm online editor, going to try this myself.

I have one issue that I am struggling with:

2. Using Jimbo's crosshairs and possibly others, I haven't tested them, or maybe it's not crosshairs but something else -- I find that most of the time the tank I'm targetting fails to "highlight" even though the reticle is on it.  And/or the reticle itself does not light up. This is when *not* in sniper mode, sniper mode seems to be much better at highlighting.   Since I play mostly mobile mediums, I am out of sniper mode a lot and I'm finding this very tough.  Especially when trying to circle-strafe, I need the visual indication that my gun is on target.  What might be causing this?

I have one request for the info panel:

3. Is it possible to make the info panel fade away or disappear after a few seconds?  It just stays on the screen with the last tank I hovered over visible, which is a bit distracting at times.

Cheers for the good work!

The issue seems to be with the sound files. When I do not install the sounds, it works.

Looks like we have an update this morning that has caused the game to crash (March 25). I expect that you are hard at work coming up with a fix. Your loyal followers are helpless without you. Well me anyway. Thanks for the great pack.

edit: Just reloaded without the 2 sound packs and all looks good. Pitty the sounds were the best part.

Bingo. I tried running only gun sounds first and then only engines, both crashed. If neither are selected then it works fine.

Seems like the Micropatch also did something weird to Dark Agent Icons .

I think I found the problem. All these problems are caused by the way zip files were handled by installer that includes (XVM, Hangars and Sounds.) Sounds were affected more. I do apologize for this inconvenience. (It's hard to test all the mod possibilities alone. I think I should assemble a testing team)  Fix is coming latter today.

Update: Looks like the micro-patch [3/25] also had something to do these problems. WG <3 so much.

For others I will answer your questions later, I do apologize

So is it just down to packaging the updated sounds into the installer now?

EDIT: OH god I forgot how bad the vanilla map sound and reticle were. Almost painful to play.

Seems that sound files have been mixed up in 9.8.

When I install gun sounds, I get engine sounds...

Since WG's micro patch was for the April Fools' Day I decided to have one of my own.. I will put everything Back to normal and you will get notification if you run that installer. I implemented the check for update feature. Have fun

I personally would wait a week till this gets sorted out. Play with the game sounds until things stabilize.  Give it a week. Solo's mod is too good to keep asking him to fix things that aren't under his control. Relax.

Not sure if this idea will be a useful coin or what not, but someone had a modpack that added a lot of stuff, also has sound mods, hangar mods, etc, and see if you can somehow get some of those implemented into your solo mod pack, if whenever that'd be possible, that'd be great! modpack i am talking about is this: http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/topic/334086-0811-omc-modpack-installer-last-updated-21032014/ As some of the mods on there are pretty solid as well, sorry if posting a link like that breaks rules or something

Go to settings (in game) and at the very right is a "Mod" tab, there you can adjust the amount of rows among other things with the carousel mod. Just found that myself last night :)

First of all thanks Solo for getting this update out so fast! But I found an issue when installing the historical gun sound mod, for some reason it installed the historical engine mod instead. I tried re-installing all the mods with a clean install but it still installed the wrong mod.

Thanks again!
