The server was down for a hour, and its back up again now.
Have you tried again recently?

I would really like to know why they would decide to do server maintenance or any updates on the weekend. I would assume that the weekend would be when most people have time to play and would be the busiest. I guess there is a good reason but obviously sucked for me. I literally was one game away from getting my Pershing that i have been trying hard to get before the big account wipe.

no, this is not about the server down, this is about game launcher issue.
i cannot play WOT with WOT launcher, only able to play with WorldOfTanks.exe

above is a my WOTLauncher.exe crashes log

Try run WOTLauncher as admin..

yeah, i run it as administrator every time i play.
i'm still unable to run WOT through WOTlaucher.

I can't either this is what I get

I run as administrator, I have checked the properties of the .cfg file to make sure it's not write protected and all appears to be ok.

Your error appears to differ from the OP's error, what is the error listed in your log file?

Found that on the Support site... might want to take a look at it and see if that may help...

Well, that's not very helpful. It doesn't seem to say why it can't save the config file, just that it can't save it. It's likely not an error to do with physically writing the file, but an internal error by the launcher that's occurring during the save process. I didn't really find anything that seemed relevant on the support site, but you could give this a try.

If all else fails, you can always try reinstalling.

Tried it and nope didn't help, tried un-installing and re-installing 3 time with no luck, even made sure nothing in the registry remained related to wot to be sure of clean install but nope.  put in a support ticket so we'll see...

well i cant help you with that but u can try re-installing the game that might help but no promises.
