I notice that with playing Tier Xs, you can quickly lose credits. I know that it is important to do damage ESPECIALLY in Tier X. I usually range around 2-3k damage when I play my Tier X, but after resupplying ammunition, repairs, etc I only make around 5k-10k income.

JagdPzE100 Shell Cost:

Regular AP Round: 2,200 Credits

HE Round: 1,600 Credits

HEAT Round: Somewhere around 7k credits. (I usually load a couple for those E3s.)

JagdPzE100 Repair Bill:  Somehwhere around 18k credits.

Add it all up.

Suppose there's a game that I do 4k Damage. I fired three AP shells (6.6k Credits) for 3,400 damage. Fire one HE Shell (1.6k Credits) for 675 damage. My tank is wiped out by artillery. There's 18k repair bill.

Add up the spent crdits: 6.6k + 1.6k + 18k = 27.2k

Credits Recieved: 34k

After resupplying the ammunition and repairing the vehicle you get 7k income. It's a profit, but not much.

Tier V Makes MUCH more. Although I know the repair bills and ammuition are much cheaper.

The most likely suggestion would be to: Stay alive, but when I'm ona team of red/dark reds, that's not going to happen.

Can't Carry Hard in a JagdPzE100.

if running a tier 10 is too expensive for you, that means you're underperforming

if you're underperforming, then mayhaps it's a sign that you shouldn't be playing in tier 10?

Never implied that it was TOO expensive. As I said, I always make income. I'm just saying maybe it should make a higher income. Many friends of mine rarely play Tier X because of the low income.

It's designed to make people who underperform go back to lower tiers for a while until they regain the credits they failed away.

that's one reason tier 10 income is low, to stop the game from becoming tier 10 battles only. Wargaming also wants to encourage people to buy premium accounts once they get hooked on the grind, so tier 5-6 is the credit sweet spot, after that premium becomes strongly encouraged with diminishing returns.

what you described is sort of the point of it all

tier 10 is a reward for hard work and grinding. If your friends are unable to play because they are unable to sustain the cost, then it is clear they should not be playing in tier 10.

Tier X's are supposed to be low income earners to prevent this game from being World of Tier X Tanks.  If there aren't enough players in lower tiers, those who are "grinding up" a line are stuck w/ long queue times to get into games.  Plus, I personally think that Tier X is for when I feel like getting my hands sweaty.  The lower tiers are honestly more fun, and you can pull off stupid moves more easily.  Tier X is very unforgiving.

Tier 10's are for fun and other business, mine is mainly for fun though and personally i don't think they need a credit boost as all you need is to break even to run it indefinitely

Its hard some times to break even, with out premon account. Normal I play alot of lower tiered battles 1-6.

I myself feel that I have the right to play Tier X due to the fact that I spent nearly a year grinding the German TD line..

With the number of terribads finally reaching Tier 10, I wish WG would decrease Tier 10 income so I won't have so many Tier 10 matches in my Tier 8 tanks.

people grind through high school, doesn't mean they deserve a high paying job when they graduate

if you mop the floor for 10 years, you're not going to be promoted to company CEO

you can walk for a thousand miles... and still not get anywhere

you feel entitled to something you don't deserve. The developers falsely thought that people who play the game long enough will learn how to play it, this is not so.

You want to play tier 10? contribute to your team, if you contribute to your team you won't lose (that many) credits.

And remember that the ONLY thing you get at tier 10 is simply harder competition. Having a tier 10 tank by itself means absolutely nothing.

also, you can carry in any tier 10 tank, don't blame the hardware.

the only expensive tank in game is Maus. fires a lot and repair bill is expensive. but of course i dont use gold rounds so it comes a bit light to e.

if you cant pay your repair bill, stop using gold round and learn to shoot with ap. that will generate:

better aim: u will need less shells to kill a enemy

less costs: u will fire less, and no gold round, economy FTW

Sorry I can't be a pro at a video game. The sole purpose of a game is enjoyment, Winning is fun, but it's a game. Not real life. You losing a battle on a game won't be like causing the outcome of a war to take a turn for the worse.

no pro no problem!

stick to the lower tiers then.

yes this is a game, but this is a team game, where success (and therefore enjoyment) comes from the collective effort of the whole team. If you're not contributing you're dragging the team down, you're having fun at our expense, because if everyone on your team would be the same as you, you would all die a fiery death every single match without accomplishing anything... that sure sounds like a lot of fun.
