You're telling me I can get dragged into a 'National' battle in my French tank?..Would it be the standard MM (+/- 2 tier spread) but only French on one side or something else far more complicated and confusing?

sounds like only keep it on for my Russian tanks, got it! then I will always win... for that mode of course :3

But it becomes an issue when every French tank tries to do the customs of their forefathers and uh...guard the rear from uh..enemy attacks..

Oh I agree it will work that way but assaults and encounters use all tanks in the game. But the new mode will leave out Japanese and Chinese tanks. This will lead to match at low number of players times with more Japanese and Chinese tanks then  other as they are pulled out for the new mode. Any thing that thins out the number of players more and more will lead to more and more bad MM.

 

With 2 server on the NA just say you have 20k players on 6k on the west 14k on the east. Now cut down the number of player to pick from for any one mode. Say 75% of the players on the easy have assaults off and 65% have encounters off and so on and so on this cuts down the number of players for the mode. Any time they add some thing that can be turned off and keep one or two tank lines out of it. All of this thinned down the told number of players that can be picked for a match.

Hard to say if it is a nerf or up... In late-battle a bit higher RoF > a bit higher Alfa

As I understand it, you won't enter battle mode unless there are sufficient tanks in the queue.  So it won't take long.

 

I think what I will do is only switch on battle mode if I'm in a Soviet tank!

 

All the changes seem good to me.

it's not so bad, both games have their own advantages. as they are now WT definitely looks more attractive especially since it has the bay factor going for it, but let's just see what 2014 has in store for world of tanks.

i think one of the greatest benefits WT is now the wot community no longer has to put up with complainers going on about "historical accuracy", and all the people who try to play the game "realistically" will go to WT as well.

lol, realistic games. are you kidding? I get enough reality as it is without needing it in entertainment as well.  The last call of duty I played was 4, and the "realistic" no jumping, no running, no standing, no nade spamming, iron sights only servers cracked me up.

It's not huge, but it's a step in the right direction.

Unfortunately, they cannot change the vehicles fundamentally or rework them in any gigantic way. Otherwise it'll just break that class of vehicle.

not only that but gradual, incremental changes will provoke less of a negative reaction than sudden sweeping ones due to the nature of human psychology.

Didnt saw the posible nerf at E4... the 155cannon will be touched? Or WG thinks that tank is already screwed?

E4 is a Meh tank. if the alpha go lower will be meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh tank

Obviously, but imo increasing rof and decreasing alpha buffs the TD's really. Makes your dpm more consistent as it will compensate low RNG rolls/critical damage shots.

It's the reason why german TDs>USSR IMO.

If you're trolling, you really should try a bit harder.

 

Go take a look at just about any damage chart and sort it by tank. Now, tell me what tank is now consistently on top of those charts.

It really isn't that hard to load HE and rip them apart, I suggest you try sometime :)
