The nerf on artys ruined them 155/58 ruined added 10 seconds to reload time. At least if you are going to ruin a tier 10 tank for 6 million credits and very long hours of grinding to get them ruined to useless in one patch.

The 261 6 million credits lost on nerfed tank.

Now artys ruined now TDs are the next whiners are complaining and they get ruined too that too much for the high tiered tanks why buy them.

WOTs own results on playability results showed participation down on artys, sold artys up. Didnt even post the results for the month long arty contest.

Players wont play them.

Add 10 seconds to all hevey tanks and watch what happens the player will bail.

Why play and every tier 10 gets ruined before i can get 100 games in it.

No, but this arty Nerf was War Gamings mistake.  They thought they were fixing an imbalance with the arty nerf.  Instead they removed one and added another.  Now TD nerfs are coming.  Nerfing is the cheap and easy way to address these issues.  WG will always go for the cheap and easy.. well most companies will.  Real improvement or development is not on WG's agenda.  It's expand, expand, expand.  More new players, more and more and more.  The game itself is secondary to the recruitment machine, WG's policy is hinged on a turn over rate not a retention rate.  They don't care how many quit, as long as newbs are flowing in the front door at a faster rate.  This has been their model all along.

SPGs are fine.  My Tiger I and 3 SPGs won a battle before I logged off against half the enemy team after we had an epic fail on two flanks, I was the last alive on 1, and the SPGs all fleed to me for safety then we just spanked the enemy together.   One of them ended up with 5 kills ad like 2.8k damage, me with 4 kills with over 3k damage, other with 3 before it was over.   SPGs are fine, one of them almost did as much butt kicking as my Tiger I....

Art is alright now....I personally don't think it needed to be hit quite as hard as it was back in 8.6 but it can still function effectively.

Very much like MLM (Multi-level-marketing), I never noticed the correlation before, but you are correct.

If they were serious about improving arty, and they are not, they would replace the asinine RNG system with an arty only system involving temp, altitude, "shell type" (make some shells more accurate but cost more; i don't care about pen or splash if the RNG says I totally miss a tank), whatever system you want that involves player side "thinking" allowing tanks getting hit.

 

the current RNG system makes me want to slam my hand in a door jam sometimes; it makes NO SENSE that a tracked maus is MISSED 100% but a t54 across the map moving at speed is hit blind (both of these happened, the miss on "maus" type tanks happens every match*).

 

* the target circle seen on screen is not what is used for RNG apparently.  A good many shells land on the "ring" and not "in" the ring causing NO damage, yet the tank shows up at end on the list as a "hit" with NO DAMAGE of any type.  Sitting tanks should not be so hard to hit, moving tanks should be harder to hit. Reward players who actively try to not get hit and punish those who just sit there. IF this happens, imo players will be more accepting of arty because they know that sitting tanks obviously get hit more and moving tanks are not hit due to player action.
