I'm not advocating an 'easy' way up- 15xp per hour is pretty slow, and having a cap at 2 days' worth of accumulation(for premium and normal accounts) wouldn't let people set the game aside for a year then instantly have a tier 10, even if they DID have the credits. An option to put in is the choice to keep or discard what has accumulated while offline, for all the gaming masochists.

Just going focus on the last sentence.

That's a bad idea making it an option you could toggle on and off, because then a lot of players would just leave it on. You see, a reward system for experience is hard to implement without having  1. Easy-to-get-vehicles 2. idle/bot accounts 3. Not making the game easy. Too many factors to worry about.

A daily credit reward system would work.

This an interesting idea: how bout the xp you get for the OP's idea can only be used on unlocking modules? Then people would still have to play and get xp to unlock the tank. However the downside is that WG would loose revenue as no one would by as much gold to convert free xp...

The issue here is the ABSURD amount of time it takes to make any sort of advance- lone modules on tier 9 tanks cost more XP than it takes to get to a tier 5 when eliting every tank.

It ISN'T easy to grind credits- there is a REASON that people desperately want Premium tanks.

The game isn't about advancing, it's about using what you have. A tier 8 heavy isn't going to make you better than you were in a tier 7 tank.

Exactly, you won't be any better if you go from 1-8 if you just get it by logging everyday.

If this was to be implemented, which I think is about as likely as restoring arty to their pre-nerf states, there would need to be several changes to the implementation. The first thing would be a once per day log in reward of 500 free xp, (750 for premium users), after meeting certain conditions to prevent idle/bot accounts from taking advantage. The first, be play a minimum of 10 games; second, over the course of 24 hours inflict lets say 3000-5000 points of damage, but spotting damage would be too achievable by an bot/idle account, (sorry for those who are scouts  ); the last would be drive about 30 km over the same period of time.

I think this a reasonable alternative, but if you see any glaring flaws with this, feel free to fix it.

I just don't know why people have to have free anything.  Experience points for doing nothing?  What's wrong with enjoying the game when you do have the time to play it?  This game isn't a race.  Getting into a higher tier before you know how to play it is ridiculous.  But that is a dead horse already.

Sorry OP.
