Is there no alternate way - a way to go through the Ferdinand?

It's based on earning the XP on those tanks,  so you can do this if you have unlocked them already.

The On Track Event does not cover the Ferdinand so it's not involved in this event.

Ok so say the next tank takes 100k exp to open can you use 80k of reg exp and 20k of free exp and get the rewards also?

Dont think its going to use any free xp, its about the xp "Earned" in each tank.

Free XP doesn't count,  you need to earn the XP in battle on each tank.

Ah!  Those bundle will be announced tomorrow,  when they go live, the link will work.  It's there a little early.

So you have to replay each tank to get the required exp for the next one?  Even if you already unlocked the next one?  ie: if you already have the jag panzer e100 you need to replay all the tanks in the line to get the tier 3 premium?

So let's get this straight:

The reward is a mediocre tier 3 premium with a crappy, untrained crew.  We get 2 weeks to grind 7 tiers and don't even get the option of which tier 8 we can use.  So we basically get the IS-6 mission again, but with more grinding restrictions, less time, and a worse reward.

I think I'll pass on this one.  I'm already at the Ferdinand.  I have the Hetzer, so I'll do that one, and I can unlock the 38t if I repeat the Marder and get me some consumables, but there is no way in hell I'll even consider regrinding the whole branch for a $5 tank that doesn't even get a decent crew.

I mean, **** [content removed - abbreviated profanity] ~Moderation Team it's a TD mission,  The least you could offer for such a grindfest is an actual TD, like the JT88, the E-25, or hell even the Dicker Max.

How much XP per tier?

The IS-6 Mission was actually doable, though I didn't bother. This one... Rampage, what abomination has infected your brain to think grinding 30% of the IS-6 mission equivalent with a more expensive-to-run tank within 50% of the timeframe only warrants 500K (250K if on sale) credits' worth of reward?

Personally I think just Grinding the JP2 to the JT and the JT to the JPE should add together to give the player a JT88, 385K XP in 14 days is worse in difficulty than 700K in 30, since there is no x5 weekend or continual x2 weekend involved, well worthy  of a 10K gold prize.

-1 for the OP because honestly this is the most obscenely horrible reward I've ever seen in my life relative to the difficulty of the problem.

When the WTF-100 (WaffenTrager auF e-100) on-track comes, Rampage, you better be ready to give out a DMax just for grinding the XP for each tier 4-7, because this award for the JPE on-track is just plain stupid. Not going to bother, again.

Well I salute you guys for these missions . Which make the on track event even better.

However, as the purpose of these missions is to give an additional incentive to newer players to powergrind the lines in 2 weeks,

i believe you should give the prizes to players having already ground that line.

not doing so , is akin to mobile phone companies only offering promotions to new customers and not catering to their existing ( customers).

TLDR - Those missions are a great idea and evolution , now please just give the reward to those that ground the line in the hard days ( no easy credit missions , no gold ammo for creds , etc. ) and also to those that partially ground the line . Otherwise , you are asking to players like my brother who is halfway in the grind to start over for a 2$ tank , which kinda beats the intended purpose IMO...

Great idea , some work to be done on execution .

Guys, stop complaining. Remember that this is free. It doesn't give Wargaming any money. It is just them being nice. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Edit: I regret this. My rep is now negative.

I've nothing to add that's not been said here already. This is a ludicrous contest/mission.

About 600k xp to grind to get a free tier 3 medium tank? What's not to love, right?  :sceptic:

Sorry...I'm slow.

Does this mean that the per tank rewards apply retroactively to tanks that have been played and elited (i.e. meet the XP requirements) BEFORE the event, or only to tanks that were played and met the XP requirement DURING the event?

Example:

If I played and met the 31100 XP requirement on the Stug III 2 months ago, do I qualify for the Combat mission: Reaching Your Jagdpanzer IV reward or do I have to go replay the tank once the event starts and grind out the 31100 XP in order to qualify?
