I have the Jagdpanther since the last week, and in a fairly high number of battles, high caliber shots that penetrate the front armor end up to create engine damage. I do not have screen shots, but this happens relatively often. I hope you guys can solve this. Oh, also, since this is my first post here, hello!

Well hi !

But it's not gonna get fixed.

Let's take an example with some random numbers :

Say the barrel shooting at you can penetrate 200 armor when your frontal has only 120 armor efficiency (that is armor amount taking slope into account). The shell with penetrate your frontal armor completely (200-120) and the remaining penetration strengh will push the shell further into the tank, injuring crew members and even ending up landing in the engine (and in some less frequent cases, go through fuel tanks).

This is a common sight when you obs an arty, you'll see more than often shell flying literally through the tank.

Another question ?

JagdPanther has a forward mounted transmission, hitting it knocks out the drivetrain (engine)

This is also representative of the Panther as well as Panther II, for those that are wondering.

And many other German vehicles like the tiger, KT, and JT.

Neither the US or Russia have this.  So much for German engineering.

Yes, it is complete bullshit. Since they had the drivetrain in the front, ingame they decided it would a cool idea that the transmision set the tank on fire when shoted.

Vehicles run on engines. Canons shoot through stuff. Vehicles are stuff. Canons shoot through stuff with engines in them.

Just cus someone shoots you in the leg cus he can't aim doesnt mean your heart is not going to run out of blood.
