So I've played this game awhile, and although I'm not too good, I do enjoy it. Very frustrating though to get a message after a battle from someone telling me I suck and that I'm a noob because of my stats. I know this (insults from other players) happens in every game out there but it would be nice to hide my stats to the public, so that only I know I suck and don't have to be reminded by some of the better players out there haha.

Turn off accept PM option in Settings, then they cant send you a private PM, only people on your friend list.

Two things... Anyone who bitches about a persons stats with your low game count is just a douchebag.

Second thing is, while you acknowledge "you suck", if you slowed down your progression and played tier 5/6 to learn to better kill, your suckness would get better.

You are not bullied because of your stats. No one cares unless you preform poorly. Your stats just reference why you are playing poorly.

I have called many out with good stats.

That is so not true. I have been in many games where I have been called out for bad stats during the countdown

This is a great way to start your "Ignore List".

Any person who would take the time and go out of their way to message anyone negatively after a game is an ASSHAT anyways.

Play more aggressive. If you're new to the game, just get in the fight. Share HP. Don't sit back with a stock gun or something and snipe. If you do what I suggest good players will recognize that at least you are on your way to playing well even if you get murdered in a brawl.

This is true, these stat thumpers are the most idiot lot there are.  ALL is defined by stats, they are completely nothing people without them.  Look at the troll I quoted first.  Spoken like the truest representative of the 'stat' community there is.  PURE asshole from first character to last.  Ignore them OP, they're LITTLE little people and this is ALL they have to make them feel good about themselves.  Computer game gods.  Woot.

Generally its not one's stats that set people off, no one goes around just yelling at bad players (cause you just wouldn't have the time to do so since there are SO MANY), its because they did something stupid in game, maybe this is not the case with you and the guy is just an ahole... but just saying there are always two sides to the story. So whether one's stats show or not, expect to get yelled at if you do silly things in game.

Also maybe you are trying to learn the game and get better, but there are lots of bad players who actually think they are good and won't take advice from better players and that's what really gets people mad. I always try to learn if someone better gives advice, sadly that's not the case with the worst players, and since this is a team game they are affecting other's too.

This is good advice^

I took a look at your tanks played and see that you ground straight up to the tier X leopard with the bare minimum games played on preceding tanks.  For comparison, I have about twice the number of battles as you, and I just got my 1st tier 9 not long ago.

Hey Sock

Don't sweat it....turn off the accept PM setting, ignore chat and just try to have fun.

There are many people here who some how have come to believe that having a good W/R entitles them to lord that over people whose W/R isn't great.

I imagine you are trying to improve...and many people on here don't really start to get good until they are many thousands of games into this.

There are lots of guides and videos available to help you improve.

you'll find that people who want to bully you for your record are just people who feel powerless in real life so they feel a need to "wield" power by mocking those who aren't as good as they are. There really is little you can do to stop them....

Best advice is just ignore it....try to improve and have fun!

1)Just tune out the haters.  Don't respond to them.  Learn not to even think about it.

2)Check the Wiki articles about how camo and line of sight work in game.

3)Turn auto-aim off and learn to aim for components of tanks, not just centre of mass.

4)In the 25 seconds before the match starts, look at what tanks are out there and spend a couple seconds thinking about what role your tank is best able to perform in helping your team win.

5)Don't play any match solo.  Look around you during startup.  Find a tank that looks like it will work well with yours, and stick with him.  This is your fire-team buddy.  Watch his back, aim at what he aims at, if you can't pen it then track it for him, take hints off of how he plays.  You will find your own scores climbing even if you're helping a baddie.

6)Get on youtube and watch the RedHat videos.  Get together with someone and try those things out.

My eternal response:

Did your stats win you the battle?  No.  Did your stats keep you from being an idiot?  No.

Trolling them back is more fun than getting offended.  :blinky:

Yeah, wish you could hide your stats, it's horrible, every other game I get called out for my stats. I don't want this. I just want to play and have fun...

Telling someone they suck doesn't achieve anything but making them mad, why do it then?

Just ignore them....it is shameful and shows how pathetic some people can be when they think that the numbers (stats) of a video game are so important, they cannot put them on a resume, they cannot take them to a bank and borrow money on them and they certainly will not help them advance in life.
