Changing EFF to WN8

I want to change my XVM config from EFF to WN8 but want to keep all my other settings(colors etc).  Any way to do this?

Yes, change the statisticForm.xc file.

 

At the bottom of the file there are two long lines of code. One represents the left hand view of vehicles (you team) the other represents the right hand view of vehicles (enemy team)

 

What you want to do is change any text in these two lines that says

{{c:eff}} to {{c:wn8}} and

{{eff}} to {{wn8}}

 

This means the the color rating for wn8 will be used for the wn8 value, where as currently the color rating for eff is used for the eff value.

 

Alternatively please read the readme-en.txt file in your \xvm\doc folder

I looked into this today but haven't actually tested it.

 

I personally want to change all my efficiency readings to the players efficiency in that particular tank.

 

So players WR in that tank  (Possible)

Players number of battles in that tank (Possible)

Players efficiency in that tank (Possible)

I could not find anything that said EFF in the statisticsform.xc  I looked in my xvm.xc file and changed the left and right view of vehicles that said EFF with WN8 so I will see if that works
.

If I try and change anything in the individual config files (statisticsform.xc etc) nothing changes, however if I change them in the main xvm.xc file the changes work but I get no colors for the WN8 scale.
