For some its more important to be at the top as opposed to enjoying the ride while getting there.

I find it surprising you think playing a game for a single day means you instantly have no

KV after 24 hours,  Try 12.  :Smile_honoring:  Saw a Tiger 12 hours after launch.  The DEVs lock your tank so you cannot just speed through. :Smile-playing:   This was completly shot full of holes 12 hours after launch when I was put up agianst a Tiger and KV3 in my M4A3E2(gift tank). <_<

I'm a bad/mediocre player playing a standard account for no more than three-four hours at a time, if i have time to play, with zero gold and very scarce silver. It's not surprising that i'm not very far ahead.

I wouldn't be surprised if some folks had multiple people playing on 1 account for a straight 24 hours.  Seems like a strategy employed in many progression-based games in order to be the first on top of the dog-pile.

Have to agree with most above.......

It's VERY easy to get a tier 5 in 1 day especially with Premium. You only need 13,000-14,000 exp to go from tier 4 to tier 5. Most people use their pre-order tanks and "convert" the exp anyway. Heck, I saw two T29's yesterday.

For me, I've only played about 5-7 hours so far and already have a KV, T1, and Sherman.

There are a variety of ways to game the system if you've got money for gold. On top of this, a lot of players accrued a lot of real experience which can lead them to excel in battle and thus gain exp at a faster rate than your average player.

there are many ways that dont involve becoming a total mouth breather.  for example i could have a few T5s  by now, but i have decided to slowly go through many paths simultaneously...ive only played like 60 battles, but having 2x premium tanks (m4 premium and PzV/IV) with 100% crews as exp farms has enabled me to research through most of the T1 and 2 tanks.  now im playing 2 T4s and 3 T3s.  once i have the credits i will add 2 T5s this weekend.

so being a beta tester and forking over some cash for pre-order makes a huge difference, you dont have to play 12hrs a day. ive played about 5hrs...

A buddy of mine mentioned a clan mate of his that was almost to a King Tiger. He expected to have a Maus in a week or two.

I admit my own prejudices up front: I find this irritating and sad, though expected. I can only imagine what this will do to the already stressed matchmaking system for the first month or so.

1. Money
2. Convert experience with gold
3.
4. Profit

Also "bafroom, mom, bafroom" comes to mind.

It's obvious they are playing their Gift Tanks and converting Exp to level up everything else.  I am hoarding my gold and just enjoying playing my tank of the moment.... :Smile_great:

this is why i think the "race to the top" contest they are doing to giveaway gold is a bad idea...it's going to be someone who bought a ton of gold and wasted it all converting free xp off their prem tanks.  I'd like to see firmer seperation of tiers to punish those who just flat out rush progress...IE "sure youve got a tiger, but all you get to play with are super 6s, no farming small tanks for you."

I'm pretty much doing the same thing now. I used my pre-order to convert exp and got me to tier 4's on the US and Russian trees. I then sold my pre-order since I think it sucks and will level the normal way now. I forgot how fun it was to play the lower tier tanks plus I don't want to get burned out playing the same maps over and over.

I'll add my two cents.

I don't claim to be a great player. I'm not a particularly good shot and I tend to play very aggressively (which often results in an early death). And my first battle in a LOLTraktor earned me enough experience to fully research the tank to elite status. So I could have been driving a tier II tank in my second battle (assuming I converted gold to credits). I could have been driving a tier II tank after my first 3 battles based on just credits from battle.

So I'm not at all surprised that someone could get a KV in so short a time. Especially once you factor in closed beta reward tanks and pre-order tanks.

1) We know what we are doing; your a noob
2) We don't want to enjoy the ride, we played in Beta and done all that already
3) We have a life
4) We have a job
5) The reason we go so fast is because we have a job and can buy gold to convert xp
6) I was in my T34-85 after about 9 hours play.
7) I took a day off work the day after launch
8) My girlfriend hates WoT
9) She still loves me though
10 - I spend more time playing than creating idiotic threads on the forum

This, I have a job and a life. I had a tier 6 tank on launch day, just because someone is better at the game and can gain experience faster than you doesn't mean it's time to start slinging insults at them.
