In celebration of reaching 1,000 battles I was going to spend some extra Christmas money and but a premium tank. Well I just need to know which is the best one.

I would search this topic. The question was just asked a week ago and the thread was very informative.

IS-6 but chances are you will struggle with the tank. Most players with 1000 battles don't understand the game mechanics enough and feel they have wasted money.

Get more experience first, at least 3000 battles, you are going to be pulling down your team

1. Don't buy a t8 premium yet. Gain more battles and experience. Wait at least 1k more

2. IS-6 is best for a new player. 112 is just a bad version of the IS 6. T34 requires you to know the maps very well. Lowe doesn't seem so good from what I see and hear.

I think I understand them well. I have had some help from clannies and some forum goers who I shall not name since I don't know if it's legal by forum rules to do so.

If you know how to hulldown, T34 all the way.

That's what I was thinking but was not sure. Oh how does the IS6 compare to the IS3?

i only own the t34, and my stats are horrible in it. that being said, i never lose money in that tank. the gun has a long reload time but it is extremely  powerful and can pen any tier 10. the tank is slow but the turret is strong. it is a great tank when hulled down in my opinion.

The FCM is a much better choice than the Lowe or 112. Speed is a major factor in most battles.

Honestly, you should wait a little while longer. You may think you understand the game, but once you play some more games you will realize that you have a lot to learn. I suggest reading Lert's newcomer's guides, they helped me immensely. Once you have a tier 8 non-premium tank, then you should get a tier 8 premium tank. And BTW, IS-6 is the best IMO.

Wither you have had some help from "clanies" or not please wait until you have at least got a tier 8 heavy from normal play.  jumping into one of these tanks will not only hurt your 44% win rate but everyone else on your team.

I have but I will probably read them again. I have read everything I can find plus I have already been in Cw's with my former clan against tier 8's in a tier 6(STUPID CLAN).

I'm not really sure as I don't have either of those tanks but I know the IS-6 has bad pen and that you need to shoot gold to survive every now and then. With the T34 you can pen almost everything without premium with well placed shots.

I'm with the rest of the group. Start in a Tier V like a T25 or a RamII those are good money makers and lots of fun! Train crews, learn maps and more weak spots, get your ratio's up to 1.3 for kill death and damage done (right now they are needing attention) then tackle Premmie VIII's. You and your team wont regret it. Don't get flustered at the idea. I myself jumped into Tier VIIIs to early and now I'm playing catch up. I wish I would have watche more vids and read more of the wiki the first year playing... And I played the hell out of arty cause it was sooo damn fun pre 8.6. So listen to these guys, the did similiar mistakes like I did.

IMHO the T34 is a better choice than the Is-6, because he will have problems penning stuff with 175 pen, and to make money you have to go damage

T34 would be good after about 500 battles in it alone and you get a 2 perk crew, whatever comes first.

IS-6 would be good for about 500 battles, when you realize that the gun that is excellent in tier 6 and ok in tier 7 is just horrible in tier 8.  This tank rewards stupid, but then becomes quite difficult later on.

Löwe isn't as easy to jump into as the IS-6 but is more forgiving than the T34.  It is also more consistent as your skills improve.  I voted Löwe.

I have no experience with the 112.

My "BEST" tier 8 premium is the T34.

Why do you ask?

It's because I "EARNED" it and didn't "PAY" for it.

(The T34 as a tier 9 heavy tank was arguably the worst tank in the game. Those of us in the know held onto them until the tech tree change that assigned it as a tier 8 premium.)

I WOULD SAY try a few out on the test server the next time a pre-patch Test comes out.

  1. Play them
  2. see which ones suit your playstyle the best.  Looks like you do OK in mediums
  3. If you can consistently  do at least 75-100% of your HP in damage, then buy one!

Cheers
Spank

I already have an SU100Y and T14 and my lackluster stats aren't my falt really I have a bad pc and it runs tanks at 8fps and 150 ping so it's kinda hard to kill much since it's so laggy it tanks longer to aim at the tanks because of that so often times I will miss.
