I have some friends just starting out on the SEA server. How do i work it so i can play on both? I'm happy to start fresh on the SEA server.

I tried downloading the game and adding SEA to the end of the folder name, but it still overwrote my NA files. Can someone please step me through how its done?

There is a pretty cool mod you can use. It's a russian mod so the download site is in russian, just use translate though. It isn't a hard mod to understand. Just exit out the client, open the mod, click on NA or any server. Click ok, then click run WoT or something like that.

downloading it from the worldoftanks.asia site should give you the sea specific client, that automatically connects to the sea server for updates. was the file you downloaded called WoT_internet_install_asia.exe?

Yeah just start a new account on SEA and keep both.

Roaming is on the table though so eventually you will be able to use you main account on both servers.

http://worldoftanks.asia/en/content/docs/update/

that is the download page for the sea server client. the file should be _asia.exe, not _sea.exe. also, the default install directory is likely the same as the NA client, so you HAVE to change the install patch during the initial setup. default is c:/games/world_of_tanks/

youll have to change that when you launch the installer. you can still have it on the same drive, but make sure you tell the installer to install in c:/games/world_of_tanks_SEA/, or whatever you want to name that folder, so long as its different than the name of the folder your NA client is installed on.

when you launch the installer, choose your language, and click next on the welcome screen, this is what you see:

that is the same default directory as the NA client. you need to change it to something else, like this, for example:

that should keep it from overwriting your NA install. if, for some reason, it continues to overwrite, then its an issue with the installer itself, and you need to contact support, either SEA or NA
