So let's get this straight... vehicles by Tier:

~~Lake Balaton offensive:

USSR: T8 TD, T7 HT, T6 TD, T6 MT, T5 MT, T4 TD

Germany : T9 TD, T8 HT, T7 TD, T7 MT, T6 TD, T5 MT

Pretty much +1 tier for all German vehicles.

~~Battle of Kursk

USSR: T7 TD, T6 HT, T5 TD, T5 MT, T4 TD, T3 LT

Germany: T8 TD, T7 HT, T7 MT, T5 TD, T5 MT, T4 MT, T2 LT

Same, +1 tier for German top tiers.

~~Ardennes Offensive

USA: T6 MT, T6 MT, T6 TD, T6 TD, T5 TD

Germany: T8 HT, T7 TD, T7 HT, T5 TD, T5 MT

Um so +2 tiers (8 vs 6)... yeah that'll be fair.  The long 8.8 is the WORST gun on the Tiger II... good bye USA.

Hey smart one... this part of the game is called Historical mode... if you are looking for a balanced tier spread, um... YOU WONT FIND ONE. the germans had great tanks throughout the war and this is HISTORICAL. i don't really find the need to explain this anymore to ppl that have something to complain about. Go play war thunder where the ME-262(mainly used 44-45) gets to face korean area jets made almost a decade later.

I am really hoping to see both French vs. Germans for early war and British vs. Germans for African battles.

just whatever you do, don't play as the Americans on the Ardennes Offensive.  Jagdpanther, Tiger and Tiger II for the Germans and the Americans get some tier 6's?  nice even match.  It may be historically accurate, but by leaving out American artillery and air power, they have ZERO chance.

Nice!!!

I hope there will be a limit of 1 tiger 2 per battle for that one...

M36 HVAP FTW!!!

I'm going to go ahead and guess that, amongst other things, tank hitpoints are going to be altered for this mode.

M26 did not participate in the Ardennes. It's as simple as that.

what about my Panther/M10... wont i get to use this in the Ardennes Offensive? unless im mistaken this was the entire reason this tank was made.

WG did mention that this vehicle might be able to join in that battle, but not right away.

IMO French vs German teams would be a travesty without the implementation of the Somua S-35 into the French tree.

lol sorry for spamming this topic:

Last thing: Why would anyone want to use the T-70, PzII, and SU-76? There's gotta be some pretty strong incentive for people to not just all queue up behind the Ferdi, KT, and JT.

and by leaving out American airpower and artillery, you completely change the dynamics of the battle.  also, I'm pretty sure that WG isn't going to give the Russians or the Americans the numerical superiority they had in these battles, either.  smart one.

Get them to implement a spring 1945 scenario and then you can have your precious Pershing

I'm sure the L/56 will prove itself a good gun in historical battles

The L/56 is a capable weapon against tier 6s, it's only against heavily armored tier 7s and 8s at large is when it gets tricky

...they actually might do exactly that.

The Tiger I isn't going to face anything stronger than a stock SU-152 so far.

Early in the war, the French had some of the better tanks, they just did not use them right.

Not to sound like i dont appreciate this new mode, but i think you guys should of made new maps for historical battles. Not saying im not interested though, its looks really cool. Me and my Sherman Jumbo will be fighting in the Battle of the Bulge alot.

Yep, but since WG has said no new French tanks this year, it probably means no Fall of France scenarios until then

I could see:

France -V- German early Europe battle, and

UK -V- Germany in North Africa being constructed with lower tier tanks quite easily.

The desert maps are there.

Not all low tier French tanks are in the game.  Several are missing.  The better ones.

It will have the 76mm. The 90mm M3 on the M18, to the best of my knowledge, never participated in the Ardennes offensive.

UK V Germany would be very easy.
France V Germany right now would be bad until more French vehicles are implemented.
It would just be a travesty without the Somua.

Yep, the stock turret, 76mm M1(It carried both M1A1 and M1A2), top engine, top tracks, and middle radio(this is a maybe, but it would be the historic radio)
