With the Summer 2014 season of the WGLNA League fast approaching, [LINCN] is looking for tankers interested in joining either of [LINCN]'s two League teams: the Lincoln Brigade (Bronze League) or the Washington Batallion (Open League).

 

Our League experience:

• Season 0: 5th in the Spring 2013 Open League (Lincoln Brigade)
• Season 1: 14th in the Summer 2013 Bronze League (Lincoln Brigade)
• Season 2: 6th in the Fall 2013 Bronze League (Lincoln Brigade)
• Season 3: 6th in the Winter 2014 Open League (15th International Brigade)
• Season 4 Preseason: Top 20% while playing in respective league brackets (Lincoln Brigade and Washington Batallion)
• Season 4 (upcoming, Summer 2014) will see the Lincoln Brigade team in the Bronze League.

 

Requirements for the Lincoln Brigade:

• Overall competency of the game: 53% win rate in tournament tanks; 1400 overall WN8 or 1700 recent WN8, whichever is higher; 1000 battles in tier 8+ tanks
• The following "standard" tournament tanks (2 or more, with Sixth Sense): IS-3, 110, AMX 50 100, AMX 13 90, T32, T69, Pershing.
• Availability between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Pacific Time on Mondays and Fridays for the League matches, as well as an additional 4 hours during the rest of the week for practices.
• Previous League or 7/42 experience preferred.

 

Requirements for the Washington Batallion:

• Decent proficiency at the game: 51% overall win rate in tournament tanks; 300​0 battles
• Enough "standard" tier 8 tournament tanks (2, or 1 and progress towards a second, with Sixth Sense): IS-3, 110, AMX 50 100, AMX 13 90, T32, T69, Pershing.
• Availability between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Pacific Time on Mondays and Fridays for the League matches (and trainings beforehand).
• No previous league or tournament experience is necessary; we will train you.

Hi LINCN's:

 

I am interested, and would like to be registered for week 1 of the pre-season hopefully. I have the Amx 50 100 (which I love) and recently bought back the Amx 13 90 (which I didn't really do so well in, but I am not such a noob any more). Plus the T1 Cunningham with 91% camo.

 

Couple questions: It seems a little unusual to me that such a small clan has 2 'pro' teams. Although I think I know the answer to that.

And, what is your team name for (and/or link to) your team already registered for the Pre-Season , and/or existing League/season?

I have updated the main post to show our past League teams, with links to each (or at least the final standings page, where you can quickly find our team on there).

 

To answer your question, FrenchFry, [LINCN] recently went through a reorganization period. (This is alluded to in our recruitment page.) For more than a year up to about a month ago, we were known as [15BAL]; upon reorganization, we dismissed roughly 50% of our members (at its peak, [15BAL] had 69 members) as we went from a clan that was more about platooning and having a good time to one that is focused on tournaments (though we're still about having a good time). The players that remain now are much more committed to tournaments than before, hence why we're (a) not going to decline an invitation to the Silver League if we get another, unlike what we did with our last invitation, when we were still [15BAL]; and (b) fully committing ourselves to building a second tournament team, with the goal of sending that team into the Bronze League at the end of the Summer season.

 

Also, FrenchFry, be on the look-out for a PM in-game.
