NO you dont have to buy gold it will just take a little longer to get where you want to go. Get your self 3 T5 tanks and just start grinding away you can make any where from 500k to 1 mill credits a day that way. I use the M4 Sherman the KV and SU-85 for my 3 credit farming tanks as of yesterday I have 15 tanks and over 2 mill credits in my garage. :Smile-izmena:  :Smile-izmena:  :Smile-izmena:
I did buy some gold for the extra slots.

Since the game tier matches you into random matches based on the tank you que then no. You are competitive at Tier 1 and stay that way. It is not a race to tier 10 nor is there some kind of "endgame" raids to do. So settle back enjoy the ride.

Yup. OP, all purchasing gold will let you do is get access to newer tanks and equipment faster. Gold consumables and gold ammo, the only gold-purchasable things that directly impact battles, are very expensive and offer an incredibly limited benefit (most people think they're not worth the cost).

Oh, and there's also premium tanks...but premium tanks are actually considered WORSE than most other tanks of their tier!

That's not entirely true. Clan wars will be coming soon, and high tier tanks will be very important if you wish to be effective in it.

No, it isn't necessary, but getting premium will speed up this process several times. You will experience a LOT OF PAIN grinding at high-tier tanks (but it will be atleast enjoyable considering that they're high-tier, unless you're playing a weak high-tier tank that leads to a very powerful high-tier tank, like with the Tiger I and Tiger II which are so bad in this game, yet they lead to the godly Maus).
