You have to research(research points) first.

Have you unlocked the research required to buy the tank in question?
Is the tank you are trying to buy a gold bought tank or credit?
More information is required.

Yikes. Gold for credits? That's quite possibly the worst way you can spend gold.

And this, ladies and gents, is why you should have a good grasp of how the game works before spending gold.

Or buying it. Although "over 9,000,000" makes me think he's a troll.

Its quite plausible that he spent $22,500 on the game.

Don't be so negative.

9,000,000 credits would be about $150 in gold.

250 gold is approx. 100,000 credits.

WooHoo basic math time.

IF 1g = 400 credits then

9,000,000 credits would cost 22,500g.

I believe the best case lowest cost scenario would have been large pre-order pkg

of 25k gold for $90. Meaning $81 for 22.5k gold converted to 9,000,000 credits.

It is personal opinion as to wether this is a smart or efficient way to spend one's gold.

IMHO it is an extremely inefficient way to use one's gold.

YMMV

You need to fight battles, and use your research points on each tank to unlock upgrades, after which you can use to purchase tanks from the Store after unlocking it on the research tree.

Yellow boxed Text is the link to the store.

The game store looks like this:

As you can see, I hadn't researched the KV-1S at the time, so I could not purchase it even if I had enough credits. However, the other tanks, having been researched, are available for purchase (except I was dirt broke at the time).

Coincidentally, this is the exact cost of a heavy package, 1 month of premium, and the rest converted into silver.
