It sucks that I have no much money, I only got 21k left. I will buy gold if my father accepts my request. What is the best starter tank for grinding?

Unfortunately that depends on how you play the game.
Light tanks are good for lower matches, scouting, and taking out artillery (if you can sneak past the main battle lines)
Among those the American T2 Light tank is probably the best
Medium tanks are good for firepower and mobility. They can quickly get to areas to pour on damage
Not sure what the "best" medium is of the premiums, Probabably the American Ram II, or the Russian Matilda
Heavy tanks are like Bunkers on treads. Slow to move, able to take alot of damage (but not indestructable)
Amonst those, I'd say the Russian Churchill is tops, though I see several American T-14's
All of them come fully researched, and all you have to buy for them is ammunition. They all make very good $$ and I'd suggest turning on "faster crew training" and then switching out their crew once it's well trained and moving them to another Tank you like (must be same country though)

I like US tanks. They are fast and cheap. May this game be created by American? lol

If you can make it to a tier 5 then the M4 Sherman with the 105mm is a great tank. You can easliy get it to elite status plus it's a great credit maker.

Marder II isn't bad for making money and exp. Mostly I find the Tier 5 and 6 vehicles can be decent money and credit grinders. Before the wipe I had an elite Stug III with camo net and it did really well for me.

I like the plain old loler. GO for a panzer 4 and se what happens from there.

Also if you have a few dollars to spare, then buy the 3000 gold package and buy a Churchill, it's very effective for grinding, usually I earn 12k-20k per match with it, sometimes even around 25k.

to start, the BT2 is unmatched for speed and firepower with some pretty good health.
The T34 is probably the best tank for all around money gaining. its pretty fast, good armor, and that insane 57mm main gun wrecks. The problem is that the BT7 and the A20 are the two wost tanks in the game for the teir.
Go with the TD tree if you play russians. T85 is an amazing tank with that 122mm HE cannon. it will 1 shot anything it pens and can hurt any tank in the game. It also leads over to the T34 so you can start that tree if you want a turreted tank.

I suggest the US M2 Light Tank in Tier 2. Good money maker, fun to play, and is the best all around tank in Tier 2. As a Tier 2 tank you're frequently placed in battles vs Tier 1 and can walk away with lots of kills.
- almost as fast as the BT-1
- more armor than any other tank
- more HP than any other tank
- two different types of guns as good as any other tank (37mm or 20mm)
That's assuming you don't have gold. Premium tanks are excellent money makers. I'd go for either of the Panzers, the heavy or the light, or the Ram II.

I hear the Marder II is excellent if you go the tank destroyer route. It is cheap, has an excellent view range of 460 stock and with the upgraded gun, it can deal some pretty good damage.
2nd this even if your not going TD its a great money maker. With mine(elite) I get around 5-6k per match. Its armor sucks but with the gun upgrade its a beast and can hold its own from a good range.

there's no 'starter' tank that's worth grinding through. that said though, the MS-1 has the best cannon...that 40mm can chew through the beginner tanks. the LOLtraktor is probably the hardiest of them all with the Cunningham having paperthin armor. I was best in the MS-1, so that's what I went with.
to earn credits though, best thing to do is exit a battle once you've lost and start a new round with an available tank. that way you play more rounds, which in turn earns more silver which lets you buy more, faster.

I agree with Quinn's suggestion. Though tier 2 is one step beyond the free starter tanks, I think the American M2 Light Tank is a good one to go for. A few battles with the T1 Cunningham and you shouldn't lack what you need to upgrade to the M2 Light Tank in the American tree.
It's very fast (outraces any of its tier other than the Russian BT-2), good choice of weaponry to upgrade to, and that speed gives it good survivability in avoiding getting hit.
