Grats winners. You are much more dedicated then I could ever be.
Were these people just constantly playing nonstop from release? I assume they were exhausted after-wards. Although the IS-7 guy must of gotten some sleep because I'm pretty sure 181 hours without sleep would be brain damage. (IIRC, can't remember the exact details on the staying-awake times before problems appear)
Either way, everyone is probably getting some sleep now.
Jokes on them however, the funnest tanks in the game are tier 1s.

Monte had a pretty normal (for him) schedule. He does work at a gaming store, which does make it a bit easier for him than most people.

It will be interesting to learn, that on European server it took longer time to get these vehicles, for example, GW-Tiger was obtained in 89 hours, Object 212 - in 90 hours, T30 in 119 hours, and M40/M43 in 142 hours! And other vehicles are still being researched.
The announcement needs to be corrected. It seems to have been written for the EU server but not edited to reflect the US server perspective in all places.

181 hours without sleep, or sharing your account with other people
Either way, well played.

I'd like to see the stats on how much gold was spent by each winning account, might be telling.

It appears that the hours for the IS-7 is not actual hours played, it is hours since wipe that the user reached that tier. Because 181 hours of actual play comes out to roughly 7.54 days playing at 24 hours a day. We have only been live 8 days come tonight roughly at 6pm. So I can only assume that is total hours since wipe. If it is actually hours played there must be one really tired IS-7 driver.

All I see are those m6a2 tanks that were a huge error in the game killing the fun out of all those not having them. And giving them a huge advantage on leveling tanks while most were leveling at a snail pace. Free tanks was not the way to go. Add the still existing bots out there. yes there are some. they don't do much but they log you in games constantly.

"super" 6 is not a "free" tank it was included in a package you had to pay for.
that said, congrats to every winner. would be really interested in the exact way how you guys got there (how much experience was made with premium tanks and how much with the actual tanks of the specific tree). but seeing all this ado about people that invest their money in this game and how they "got it easy", I will understand if you guys rather keep it a secret

PS: @Tanitha, there are a lot of europeans playing mainly on the NA servers as well

Congrats to the winners. You will only see this post in about two days when you are conscious. Happy dreams.

Thanks for all the congratulations. Like I told Overlord in a different thread, this game is an awesome game. It was worth going a couple days without sleep. I can't wait for Clan Wars.
I can't speak for the others, but for me, yea... most of the day I was playing. I had to go work on weekdays, so to make sure I stayed on top I went without sleep for the first two days. Five hour nap, kept burning and once I hit the weekend, hour naps when I needed it. (Basically anytime I realized my Leo was driving full bore into a rock and half my team was dead.) I am the only person with access to my account and was the only one running tanks.
Probably the question I get the most is how did I get the XP so fast? Basically it was running four elite tanks as aggressively and quickly as I could. The Leopard, the Matilda, the T-14, the Ram-II. Mainly because against lower tiers, these destroy. Against same tier, they rely on skill or the advantage of people not knowing their weak spots. So it's easy to roll into matches, rack up to 4-6 kills, and 1k XP per match. It wasn't until a couple days after release that I started seeing people who could bring down the premiums and knew to track a Leo to kill it.
As for gold, I'm not sure what you mean by telling. Yes, I bought all three preorders and a bit extra so I could try and buy all the premiums, which I was unimpressed with most. But gold doesn't buy XP. All it did was allow me to not have to run my King Tiger vs M6s. And then once I hit t9, matches were taking 5 minutes to get into, but even then it was 1v2, 2v2, I even had a 1v3 in there at one point. Those aren't fun. Nice even matches are what I want. Like last night, all 4 t9s were online and getting battles together and those were the most fun I've had in a while. Especially since victory wasn't guaranteed. (death, my Maus charging your flags while you were on top of the hill were epic...
)
I have no problems answering questions, the race is over. I'll give out my secrets.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it, just saying the premiums -do- or at least initially -did- gain xp at a significantly superior speed compared to those slogging through with their M2s and their Lees.
And congrats on the win.

Except I told you the battles took too long to be fast. I know some people played them while their lower tiers were in battle... but it's not a speed grinder.

Favorite Premium: Matilda
Favorite Tier: Always going to be t8. My KT is why I went to the Maus and is what most people see me play now.
If you want speed, use my setup. If you want consistency and don't have the M6, T5 seems to be a great one with the 3601H. Just like my Leo, it too has 10 kills in battle. On average... it's a 3-4 kill machine for me. And it can take a beating.
