Listen up, greenhorns; this weekend's event is about you! Well, vets get some love, too.

I predict an increase in Seal clubbing. Still, the missions are nice.

I get no love, my father is a Mean Marine! Even at his age there is no love!

Wow, "Absolute TC" battles been a while, can't wait...     More love here!

Hmm 50% off garage slots and 50% of on low tier tanks at the same time!

guess it's time to fill in the gaps in the garage.

Well not bad, looks like some easy things...

But the only thing I dislike is the 5K damage in company battles.....

I don't play company battles. Most don't so I suppose that is why they are trying to get people to play it.

Absolute Battles should be a permanent mission

At 50% off on Garage slots and 50% off on the low tier Prem tanks I see my Gold being spent in silly low tier glee. :D

The Company Missions are not something I normally do but have wanted too, now I have a reason.

Overall a decent and likely fun weekend. :D

Perfect timing for me.  I have at least three crews that need retraining.

I doubt that would make tank companies significantly more popular, but anything would help.

All those consumables!  And retraining is nice.  There is 3 tanks I have researched and ready to buy with crews to drop in.  Thanks!

Why would they put premium ammo on sale? That is the games biggest money sink, specially at high tiers

Because there hasn't been one since November 2013. Enough said.

Wait people actually use Gold or "real" money to purchase the Premium ammo? I always buy the "Gold" ammo with credits costing me nothing. I support the game by buying Premium Tanks and Premium time but would never spend cash on the Gold ammo. I don't mind support my favorite game but I'd be surprised if that is how WG is making most of it's money.

Field Duty

Destroy 20 vehicles.

  • Tier IV or higher
  • Random battles only
  • Once per account

I have a question.  If this if for newbies, shouldn't this read as "Tier IV or lower"?

Guess I'll get my 25at's crew ready to be moved to the t28 for the next On Track. Have a few other crews that need to graduate too.

Very nice weekend! +1 for Crew Training discount!

- Tier 2 and 3 Tank Discount: Perfect for the theme of the weekend; helping new players get started up the lines of their choice.

- Tier 2 and 3 Premium Tank Discount: Same as above. If the new players can figure out how the system works, they can pick up a few nice little crew trainers this weekend.

- Double Crew XP: This is always a great event. A crew XP multiplier spices up any weekend event.

- 50% Off Crew Retraining: Can we clarify whether this discounts training new crew members as well? Either way, I will be making use of this.

- 50% Off Garage Slots: It seems we are getting this sale pretty often lately. Lots of a good thing is nothing to complain about, though.

- 50% Off Consumables: Another nice sale. Time to add to the stockpiles!

- 50% Credit Boost for Tier 4-5: May encourage seal-clubbing, but can certainly help fill some banks.

- "Field Duty" Mission: A good way to help stock up on repair kits if you have time to play more than just a few battles.

- "Team Training" Mission: At first I thought this was a mission for playing Training Room battles! :teethhappy:

- "Company of Heroes" Mission: A decent low-risk low-reward mission.

- "Tour of Duty" Mission: A very nice mission for new and old players alike. Free garage slots are always nice!

- "Absolute Battles" Mission: Nice to see a little something for high tiers worked into a weekend for low tiers.

Overall Summary: There's something for just about everyone this weekend: Lower tier regular and premium tank discounts, mid-tier tank income boosts, and consumable, crew training and garage slot discounts for the veteran players. Some solid missions to go along with all those bonuses, too! Thank you, Wargaming, for a great weekend event!

Also, guys, check out the in-game "Coming Soon" tab in the missions window! They have some missions for Team Battles coming up this weekend, too!

No.  However, when ammo is on sale, you can buy 1000s of rounds at a discount, costing you less over time.  It's a money saver in the same way as buying consumables or equipment ahead of time to cost fewer credits over the long term.
