Such a short question for such a longer answer!  I wish I knew, do what I do, bum your buddy's XVM folders via Dropbox after they get everything all set and ready!  :teethhappy:

http://www.modxvm.com/en/xvm-xvm-xvmconf-configuration-editor/

Load your World of Tanks\res_mods\xvm\xvm.xc file and config away.

For some things you will have to manually edit the files though. Like, to setup WN8 I had to modify my files myself.

Use the link above to open the XVM Editor. Remember, it is best to close the game before you start editing.

IMPORTANT! Make a backup of your res_mods folder before you make modifications!

If you are not experienced with the XVM Editor, you must load all files/components (hold down shift key, click first & last file — do not click any folders) in res_mods\0.8.11\xvm\configs\(name of folder with XVM files) into the XVM Editor using the 'Open' box at the top left of the screen. The files listed should be @xvm.xcalpha.xcbattle.xc —> vehicleNames.xc

Make the changes, then 'save' to the res_mods\0.8.11\xvm folder, replacing the one there. Best to only make a few changes at a time so you can see if they are working properly.

Open the game, enter a battle, see the changes you made.

If you want to make additional changes, close the game, then open the xvm.xc file only (res_mods\0.8.11\xvm folder). Make additional changes, saving the file to res_mods\0.8.11\xvm each time.

Good luck!
