25% donation to support real heroes when you can just make up product out of thin air is pretty cheesy. I gave directly to Wounded Warriors. They put the real gold on the line and WG should show a bit more real love. It isn't as if they can create new heroes out of thin air. (and yes, I understand it takes $$ to run a business, but come on WG!)

Do any of these charities operate outside of the US? Namely in Canada?

I don't think they have done anyting for charities outside the US. Would be nice to see others.

We have done Military Families Fund in Canada in the past, but for whatever reason, it appears they didn't get back to us this year.

Personally, I think that WG should have put at least 50% or more of the proceeds to the charities.

I will give directly to the charities because they are for a good cause, and tho it may seem like WG is being stingy with the % they give just remember they don't have to give at all.

kudos to those who set it up.

+1 for he contributions WG

It's always a good thing to support the Military, and I applaud you for it, but they're terrible deals otherwise. The first lieutenant package is only $2 less than the normal $99 dollar package you've run for several months, but has 2.5 million credits and 2500 gold less than the normal package. That is not a deal, and will prevent you for being able to give that money to the groups, as more people will see it's still a better deal to buy the $99 package.

Come on WG, you can do better than this.

Thanks to WG.

Simply put they did not have to do anything. They could have just put their head down and covered other historical battles and history during this past month. Memorial day could have been the only weekend celebrating the veteran of our armed forces.

Instead they took the whole month to offer us, the players, a chance to get to know 4 diverse charities. Throw in the chance to both get gold and donate and it raised awareness and money for these great groups. That in itself is admirable and deserves some credit.

Then today, 12 hours working at raising 30K to make the total money raised $100,000. They did not have to do any of this. Yet they did. They introduced us to vets who work at WG and gave respect and thanks to those who served and were simply watching the stream.  That simple action, and I imagine it was not as easy as it sounds, means a lot to those who have served or at least me.

Thanks WG.

Sorry WG, but this, "25% of the proceeds from each bundle will go to the associated charity", should be MUCH higher. I don't know about most people, but I am not buying squat if the majority of the proceeds, minimum of 75%, aren't going towards the charity. So does this mean you guys are keeping 75% of all proceeds then? If so, count me out. I'll go to the individual charity site myself & donate directly, so I know the vets are getting the majority of the money I donate. Already donated twice this month, so I got no problem doing more. Just not under these circumstances where only 25% is actually going to the charity. I would expect more to be going to them.

At any rate, my absolute deepest thank you goes out to our vets. You are the true heroes to me. o7

Quite frankly only having 25% of the amount go to a charity is piss poor at best, 50% would have been better, matching it would have been outstanding and with all the money WG is making hand over fist, I would think that they could afford to do it, this all reeks of a money grab scheme.

And NO, your page with the listed charity bundles is not all that clear, if you had left it simply with the bundles that were actually associated with a charity, that would have been fine, when you list it in the way in which you did it makes it seem as though all of the bundles listed on that page of Military Appreciation Month Bundles were all having part of the proceeds go to some form of charity, which in reality I guess they do, some go to actual military charities and some go to WG's self charity.

Thank you WG NA for providing this chance to give back.

I purchased the option to give to all 4 charities and I received the 1.5mm credits but have yet to received the 1500g. Anyone else experience this problem?
