All the tier/points are on the tournament pages themselves.. for a reason which will become clear after week one....

Tiers/points are listed on the tournament page.

Cliff notes: Tier 8, 24 points. See the page for all restrictions.

I really think that having no reserves is a huge mistake in any tournament. Even if you're going to do what I think you're going to do during week 2, its still a terrible idea. We all have lives/obligations/vices/whatever outside of the game that can take us away at any moment. What you're going to do here is completely hamstring teams if only 1 person can't show up. I strongly think you should allow at least 1 reserve for that just-in-case situation.

A tourney with the "surprise factor" similar to the [sarcasm] goodness of the unknown that was the Clan Wars campaigns [/sarcasm]?  No thanks, I'll pass.

Also, as others have said, the no subs rule is a problem.  With that, you're basically encouraging requiring us to share accounts to make sure that a team can be fielded if someone has something come up between registration and the actual battle dates.

Based on the title they probably plan to combine teams for the 2nd week and make battles 6v6. If that's the plan they don't want you to be able to replace members of the second team with reserves.

I realize that.... and who is going to really want to play with some other random (seeded) teammates?  Who is going to be the "captain" or FC?  This isn't gradeschool or a random pub battle.  Hence why they need to make it a secret (if that indeed is the "mashup" part) because knowing that for sure going in would cause all kinds of problems.

No subs with a mystery twist in the 2nd week? Gonna have to agree with most of the above posters and say I am not really feeling this one. Honestly it doesn't really matter to me whats going on the second week, no subs the first week is enough of a reason not to do this one.

Please listen to your player base WGA and bring back daily blitzes. No one ever complained about those, you guys have tried several tournament formats since then and none have been as popular as daily blitzes. I still run into guys who I have never met before when I am running team battles that say "man I sure wish WGA would bring back blitzes!"

People want a one day tournament they can sign up for the day before. They want all rules known in advance. People have lives (not to mention those lives have things happen in them they cant account for when signing up for a tournament "oh sorry hun, cant take you to the hospital, my internet tanks team has no subs!") long tournaments with no subs and mystery rules are the exact opposite of what you should be putting up.

I would have to agree with above. My clan is a casual family clan, and without reserves if something comes up you now have a team short. Especially the 2nd week. I'm not concerned with week one, but things come up and a lot of people have changing work schedules. 2 weeks is a long time to commit.

^^ I would have to agree with this, even if they where just Friday, Saturday, & Sunday and not all week. They where short, one night, and few tanks. My clan loved them whether they won gold or not.

And you have no concerns letting chaffees compete in this? Against tier 6 and below? Ok, time to kill....

Its tier 8 and below

Also just a reminder, get your teams registered for this tournament before the 28th. You MUST be in week one to take part in week two.

DONT FORGET TO PUT THE TEAM IN PENDING APPROVAL STATUS OR YOU WON'T BE ACCEPTED

I don't think WG knows that 1/4 of us won't even be able to login and another 1/4 is going to CTD before they can even load the battle. This is going to be a fail if WG doesn't fix this soon
