I take the bus. Let's see 3 stops per 1/4 mile, roughly 3mins each stop average speed maybe 25mph... Ugg can someone help me with this?

I thought you meant our 400m times. Like by physically running.

The last time I was timed running was in basic training, ran 2 miles in 14.36 mins. So divide that by 8 and I ran the 1/4 mile in 1.79 minutes!

This was my '92LX which I use to run in the FFW series back 10 years ago. The class had limitations (Street Warrior class).

@Kinson02

What's under the hood? That's a huge amount of torque on a '92 LX

408 Windsor Eagle Crank Rod Pistons, 850 Holley, AFR Heads in a CMC 65 Kit Cobra. Does 468 HP to the Wheels and Runs 1/4 in 11 on street tires. But it handles like a dream.

It's an iron headed 306ci. In the class I use to run, we had limits like 306 max ci. 650 carb or 75mmTB (I stayed with the EFI), long tube headers were allowed, but no porting of heads, 10" slicks max. I had a 5 speed which had been modified (proshifted with 5th gear removed).  The car weighed 2950# with me in it and made 385 RWHP and would run consistent high 10's.

It was always fun to head to the local 1/8 mile track and while most of the other drivers had their big block and/or NOS with automatics and run low 7's, I would pop off a few 6.90's while banging gears and have a crowd come by to see what I had under the hood. It always amazed them that it was just a iron head 306 NA.

1:06:45, the last time I got shoehorned into a 400m race.  I'm strictly an extreme-distance runner.  Anything shorter than a half-marathon is a bit too sprint-y for me.  I can run a 6:30 mile for twenty to thirty miles easily, though.

Actually on topic, I took my unmodified 2009 Honda Civic Si Coupe drag racing once.  Ran a 15.2 at 91mph.  For a little Japanese econobox, I'm kinda proud of that.  I still prefer throwing it around on a track with actual turns, though.

Fastest car I've had was an old 95 miata with a jackson supercharger. Zoom zoom indeed with 260 bhp across a wide power band.

Have no idea of the times on a track but I've smoked many a gt mustang or camaro.

Hello,

My 5.3l V8 300+ hp ZQ8 Canyon with headers, cat-back, intake and a tune does low 14.3 sec. Not bad for a CDN daily driver.

David.
