Fun mod, just getting into it and I have two questions.  (I am using the 'alt' version)

Is there a way to view my tank in the same format as the others?  I.e green name and bar with the five data points?

Is there a good guide that explains what each and every XVM stat and color means?  (in detail)   I can figure some of them out but many I dont have a clue yet.

Thanks

Have you looked at the original post, there are screenshots with explanation. The only unexplained things are in a garage, I dont have time atm.

- You can make enemy tank name in red color, and friendly tank name in green, not sure what exactly you had in mind :)

Updated to 2.8.12 (only for 8.7, if you have 8.6 client, don't bother):

- based on XVM 4.0.0
- added vehicle icons for update 8.7

Yes, I know it's kind of workaround since it's same the flash files like for 8.6, and I hope it will work on upcoming update. I have no access to XVM for 8.7, and since I will be off for some time, I've decided to publish this one, Once XVM 4.x.x is available, try to update flash files only, should work. As for custom vehiclenames, I will make it later when proper swf is available.

Thanks.  Yes I read your starting page first and many questions were answered and then was able to get many more answered elsewhere. I still struggle with the deeper meaning of some of the stats (on service record) but am muddling thru it.

The other part of my questioin was in reference to the view in battle.  When I look at a vehicle in battle it appears with a colored bar (green for friendly and red for enemy) and each is surrounding by five data points.  Thats all good but my question was can I view my own five data points while in battle (it would be nice from a comparison point of view).

I will try exploring the inner workings of your files and may be able to answer the question myself.  Was just wondering.  I like the mod though and appreciate your hard work.

So a while back you recommended the hitlog version of this to me to get the default markers in the game, but the unfortunate consequence is that when I do that, the amount of stats displayed in game are dramatically reduced to just win rate, condensed WN7 (I actually think it's efficiency), and total games played. I'd like to have the full stats that are presented with the normal version of the mod, but with the markers from the hitlog version, how would I go about doing this?

I tried replacing all of the markers files from the default version with the hitlog version, but I don't think it works that way.

Is there a way to change it so it shows the stats of players even if the tank is new?  i dont like the past 30 day thing. Is there a way to set it to global or whatever it is?

I was wondering how to restore the default vehicle names that show up over the tanks? I removed the ones from the res mods folder but I think that some of the regular res files got replaced but I can't find where the names of the tanks are.

Also I 've tried the online editor to change the over target markes and damage indicaitors, but I can't get it to show the damage I do to people in the right color. It's always white with a purple outline.

I would be greatful fro any help.

I'm using Jimbo's Crosshair mod, XVM, Aslain's XVM Mod and a damage panel mod.
Everything seems to be working fine for me.

Yep. All crosshair mods should work with this, aside from this, the only worry one should have is the .swf files that are minimap, fragcorrelation, etc, that pretain to those types of mods. crosshair mods are a seperate entity from xvm mods. So one should not have a problem using crosshair.

great work Alsain I will be downloading as soon as I get home from work. Thanks for all your hard work! Some people just don't understand all the work that goes into something like this, so that others can have it and install it as easy as 1-2-3-.

Internet and Tanking comprehension fail.
Also, two issues I noticed. LKP indicator on a JagdTiger 8.8 turned into {{Vehicle Class}} instead of the ghosted symbol.
Additionally, there's Tier Markings over your contours, partially obscuring them. How do you remove them?

Vehicles need updating. I think the t-50-2 is still in there. Show chances dont work if the new tanks are in the battle and not in the vehicle list

Says Chances Unknown.
