Classic Regular v1.55 beta1 :
Still crashes my client, unable to load the battle.  Crashes once progress bar reaches about 99%

Try to reinstall the game maybe?

I tested this icon build on fresh WoT 0.7 US, and it was loading without any problems.

Had a friend zip me a copy of his flash folder and linked me to the latest OTM mod, works now.

Aslain,

I have reinstalled it and it looks to be working fine thank you.

You did mention that the 1.2 OTM editor wouldn't work with this mod is that right?

Yes I did, if you use OTM 1.2 editor it will corrupt mods config file and you will again experience weird behaviour like missing tank icons above tanks etc.

Anyone else noticed T95 is yellow, like a medium tank?

Great mod by the way; I've been using it for months.

Nope, blueish here. Checked on all 4 versions.

ps. I'm glad you find it useful :)

The v1.55 is working pretty well, the only problem I'm seeing is having to hit alt to see the icon over OTM. Honestly though, I'd like to see a version that does not put the icons over the markers.

I am getting the same thing - I see the bar but not the name of the tank.  If I press alt I see the players name and when I release alt the tank names show, but when the enemy disappears and then reappears or a new enemy reappears then I just see the bar again.  I'm now pressing and releasing alt every time I want to get the tank names to show.

I am having the same issue.  I have to press alt everytime an enemy appears on my screen.  Any idea of how to fix this?

Otherwise, great mod.  Would buy again!

I've attached the OTM settings I use, it has no contour icons over the tanks, just the game's inbuilt tank names.  I think it looks nice and clean while giving the info I need, but anyone else might see differently.  Remember to back up your old one in case you like it better or have issues with mine.

The editor's preview exporter fails pretty hard, so alas, no preview.

Just use default OTM config settings and it works like that. I have no need-to-press-alt issue to see enemy icons tho.

Updated

v1.55
- fixed healthbar & percentage text position
- fixed wrong settings in OTMdata.xml, causing issues with icons over tanks in a battle
- added 18 French tanks (WoT 0.7.1)
- battle.swf updated to the latest revision

Ok, I see that overtarget icons are showing a bit too high, I will correct it with next update, stay tuned :) Tomorrow probably. I hope they will release new OTM editor fast, because editing it manualy isn't too convenient way.

Aslain, good night, i have one question for you, is it normal that when i see a tank in battle, i have to press ALT bottom to see his data? i mean, if i dont press anything, i just dont see anything about the tank, no name, no HP,nothing, but after i press it, i can see it all as always. this happens on the test 7.1 server so far .

Snap 1
as soon as i see an enemy, it has nothing.
Snap 2
When i press the ALT, i see the names
Snap 3
after i release it, they look just like always.
FIXED. i was using an old version of your mod :P

one more issue is that i see the tier marker of the game in the middle of the icon names. snap:
Attached File   Snap.JPG   22.45K
And this can be very annoying as one cant see the real name behind those cheky frenchs :/

In the game go to Settings, first tab, and uncheck showing vehicle tier number :)

Would it be possible to tweak this so that the health totals are showing when no pressing alt? I'm not very good with XML, and this provides the exact thing I like (I much prefer text to icons over the tanks), save for having percentage showing instead of health.

I just installed 1.55, and I'm having an issue with the side panels where the tank names are listed. On my screen, the contours have been replaced, but it still listst he tiers, and they are overlapping the name/tier graphics from the mod. I can post a pic later when I get home.

Go up 2 posts from yours (Post 196) and follow Aslain's advice.

If you go to this page, you can edit the mod yourself with the OTM editor.  Once the editor is installed, open the "File" menu, click "Open configuration" browse to your WoT/res/gui/flash folder, and double click OTMData.xml.  Use the small dropdown menu next to the word component, and choose "Current health"  Once you've done that, put an X in the box for visible.  Remember to click on "Enemy" in the upper right, and put the X in the visible checkbox a second time.  Once you've done this, simply click "Save" under the preview image.
