Yeah, yeah, yeah...  I know these are reasons why it is done this way.  I am just not sure that calling it a "playoff" is very accurate considering that by and large the top teams do not play each other...

So you have no argument then. Thank you for clarifying that.

play–off

noun \ˈplā-ˌf\

: a series of games that is played after the end of the regular season in order to decide which player or team is the champion

: a game or series of games that is played to decide the winner when people or teams are tied

So instead of 1 "champion" they do smaller groups and make ~10 "champions" just like the NHL, NFL ect has (Conference Champions) just we don't do the "Super Bowl or the "Stanley Cup". It doesnt change the fact that they have 10 Single Elimination Brackets it is still a playoff by definition.

Top teams do face each other in the playoffs, if they make it to the finials. If they don't make it to the finials then obviously they weren't one of the top teams. By your logic why does the NHL, NFL have a playoff? Why don't they just call the team with the best reg. season record the champion?

If a team uses tier 7 TDs and beats you will you get to move on to the next round?

Not that my opinion matters, but seems awfully unfair teams who invest in the Group Stages get paired first round of the Bravos with "pro"/unicom teams. Would rather see all the "Bravo only" teams go head-to head and the Group Stage fallout go head-to-head.

Then place higher than top 50% bracket. But if you still feel that way you are welcome to join the Bravo tournament.

Though I am not sure I would describe it as "unfair" necessarily I do think that your suggestion is an interesting idea...  many possible alterations could be made that could accomplish something along these lines.  However, you will find little sympathy for the discussion of any changes here unfortunately.  And yes your opinion does matter...  though Moguai (and many others) will try their best to make you believe that it doesn't.

There is something higher than the top 50%??   Do tell...

And I think they are already participating in the Bravo tournament.
