Quote, "Karl-Gerät" (040/041) (German literally "Karl-device"), also known as Thor and Mörser Karl, was a World War II German self-propelled siege mortar (Mörser)"

From wikipedia. 540 mm gun. That's what we really need. Blow the maus to pieces.

Who needs rate of fire when you one shot their entire team at the beginning with 100m splash damage.

You start with the gun unloaded.

The battle will probably be over by the team your crew loads the gun. :D

but hey if it missed your team just lost an artillery piece for the entire match. If you hit a friendly, well you just lost both the artillery AND a meaty portion of the team.

What do you think the Karl fires? A tactical nuke?

Its HE shell contains 200~300kg of explosives, which is enormous for an artillery shell but not so much compared to the aerial bombs. Have you ever heard of allied tank group wiped by one 1,000 lbs bomb dropped by Jabo?

Don't trust the Wikipedia, the gun was actually 600mm.

they made them in two different calibers, a 24in(600mm) gun and a 21in(540mm), with only 7 total being produced

Oh, didn't know they made the 540mm, wasn't that a complete waste?
