I submitted my team on 6/24 and got no approval.

Need an explanation.

Because your Team is Registered for the Bravo Tournament which closes on Thursday.

It closes on Wednesday for this tourney. Playoffs start on Thursday instead of Friday because of July 4th.

Wow, a lot less T18s then I expected to see, but still a lot of camping. We only had one team actually attack us first.

No. They attacked us straight across the valley from their spawn, as our team was crossing on top of the hill to attack them from the opposite side we spawned on.

This map is cancerous garbage at this level of strategy.

It's fine for your average tomato beginner players to play on, but in any real strategic event there's no real reason to move out and try and gain ground.

The south spawn has a dirt passage at E8 straight up to the enemy hill that the north side does not.

North spawn must go up the given road and eat shells or turtle the whole time.

South spawn can even send someone up into A1 to practically guarantee a draw with the time it takes to break a turtle.

Every loss has been on the north-east spawn, every victory from the south.

Nice to know the level of skill needed to camp on this map is non-existant.

also

its quite nice to see Wargaming hasn't made a rule explicitly saying that excessive camping should be dqable

(almost like wargaming is rewarding campers for doing nothing the entire time)

10/10

Could have been us :P. If it was from South spawn..And if we won since we didn't lose from South because no camping = win. As for Scrublet, i'm sorry but the last part is pretty dumb. If you can't break a camp then that is not the enemy teams fault. Who cares how they win as long as they do it. But yes there was a lot more draws than I would like. This is just a horrid tournament map because breaking a camp is not as easy as on some maps. The best way to do it on this map is to not even let them set up a camp.

Camping

It's easy to think this a camping map because many of us play it that way in pub matches. To be honest, it makes sense to do so because their are so many awful players who will simply drive themselves into your gun's sites if you allow them to, and because there is no way to properly coordinate attacks with all of the horrible players on your own team.

A tournament game is a completely different story and a properly planned push is both easy and necessary. We had absolutely no problem breaking up enemy campers. We were 17-2-1

T-18s

The strength of the T-18 is that frontal armor and against new players, players without gold rounds, and players in Himmelsdorf it can be an awesome weapon. In a tournament, you'd be a fool to think that everyone and their brother wasn't going to be firing gold rounds at you. That T-18 armor is going to be penned almost every time by tanks it simply cannot see yet. The weakness of the tank is its maneuverability and its vision range. Those are going to be exploited by a good opponent Big Time. Any time I looked at the enemies list of tanks and saw a bunch of T-18s I was pretty sure the matchup was already over.

Interesting comments about camping. We never faced a camping team once, nor did we camp ever. We lost 1 game.
