It's not just spaced armor, it's composite armor

It's not coming to WoT

that spaced frontal would be impenetrable to anything in wot, that turret armor is rediculous, fires missiles. out of the picture

Like the others said, it's way too advanced for World of Tanks.

Been suggested before. Been turned down before. Not even the M551 would get the Shillelagh if it was introduced into WoT, as WarGmanig has a strict no go/only for April Fools policy when it comes to missiles.

Even though it might fit within the timeframe, it was infested with technical problem which would have sort of wound up bumping it out of the timeframe.

Ironically the E5 is supposed to have composite armor called Siliceous Core armor. Basically fused silica glass between RHA plates. However WG "opted" to not give it to the E5.

this is a main battle tank it wouldnt be added although the Type 59 is classified as a MBT ( the chinese classified it. by the time they copied the T-54 the Russians had their own MBT the T-62 or the T-70)

God I love it when people drop the MBT argument. Its not the fact that its an MBT, its the technology being used that disqualifies the tank. Technically the T62 is an MBT but since they gave us the first batch/prototype that has a 100mm rifled gun, it gets around the issue.

The Centurion is a MBT.

The Pattons are MBTs.

The T-54 onwards are MBTs.

The Leopard is a MBT.

The Type 61 is a MBT.

Your point?

I am not going to say that its too "OP" to be introduced to WOT, because we have tanks like the leopard 1 and the STB. Perhaps we will see this tank IF WG introduces tier 11 and 12, thats only if they do.

Hunnicutt gives no indication that siliceous core armor was ever part of the T110 project

CMDStorm found it when he started the epic thread. I'd have to go trolling through it to find what reference he was using.
