Sad to hear skins are a little messed up, but it's certainly fixable.
As for the .dds files, they are still there. You can open the .pkg files with an extractor (like winrar) and extract the contents.
EDIT:
Bucking test server is full, so I cannot test and see how many mods are working or not.
Did notice the login screen from my mod was not working. After looking in the gui.pkg file, noticed they implemented a new directory structure for login screens.
I've fixed it and will release a fix when 0.7.1.1 gets out.
(will also make an alternate version with different backgrounds, for diversity)
EDIT 2:
Pinkie!!!! (test server is still busy)
Been using replays to test stuff out, so far ...
- Music and Voice packs work (voice packs will be missing new lines as expected)
- Rainbow tracks and parasprites work fine.
- Skins work fine (some might be corrupted due to model changes, will have to check all of them)
EDIT 3:
Finnaly managed to log into the damn server.
Crew Icons, ranks, names and also garage skins work fine.
Only mods that might need revision is Voice packs, to add new lines, and skins, to fix any damage caused by model changes

As long as we were messing around with high tier arty, I felt I might as well make this. I dunno if I should make another skin for the Tiger E or not though. Well, we can cross that bridge when we come to it.
Also, that 210 Morser seems like the ultimate party cannon, aside from the T92's 240mm death stick.

Tiger2, E75, E100 are all fine. T30 seems fine also, but that may be because I haven't tried any of the other guns

So, after trying out RelicShadow's My Little Pony Music Pack, I eventually came to wanting to try a hand at putting my own pack together. Don't get me wrong, his pack is http://www.facepunch...some! It's just that after a while, the dubsteps and just general electronica was kinda wearing on me. It just didn't have the heart-racing power that a game like WoT seems to demand; and again, I'm not harping on his work, nor do I want to take anything away from it. Just expressing my own personal tastes in Brony music, I guess. So, without further ado, I give you:

You may have noticed with the maps that I included the general event cues. I decided to try and follow WoT's cues by filling these with very specific tracks. This way the user will have an idea of which map they're on simply by the music that plays. For example, Himmelsdorf and Lakesville has a specific track that plays for them, while the track that plays for Campokinova will play only one track (And I'm willing to bet you'll find the track for the latter to be quite appropriate. )Download:

Installation:The mod itself is JSGME (JoneSoft Generic Mod Enabler) friendly. If you are using JSGME you should have no issues installing.

You can also manually install the mod if you like simply by extracting it into your WOT folder.
Be sure to make backups of the following file and directory:
- res/audio/music.fev
- res/audio/music.fsb

To be honest, it does the exact same thing to me
I blame it on my lack of Brony musician knowledge. It's not that extensive, so I basically took a few of the most popular ones I could find and mixed them up in a bowl.
I was expecting cupcakes to come out, I was disappoint.
Looking at the song list I might just be giving your music pack a try over mine. Seems to fit my liking quite nicely (New Lunar Republic is one of my favorite songs)
Only wish would be to have all intro musics available for all maps, and having one picked at random.
But considering the map you get is usually random itself, that's not that big a deal (even if I seem to get malinovka a lot compared to the rest ... )
I'll say good job in advance, as I'm pretty sure I'm going to enjoy it

On related news, given 0.7.1.1 is hitting tomorrow, I'll be wrapping up the patch for the Mod Compilation (it will be ready for the new mod folder coming with the patch)
edit: Not today sadly, hopefully tomorrow.

Hmm, apparently, if a skin did not have minimaps enabled, then it will not work in 7.1.1. If you haven't already noticed this problem, you can see somebody's post on it here. I can fix my own skins if you'd like.

That's gonna set me back even further as I'll have to generate minimaps for all skins
The ones I tweaked have minimaps generated, as I always selected that with GIMP, but the one I did not mess with I cannot say for sure.
I will be doing this after releasing patch 1.4.

Yeah uhm. I take back everything I said about 7.2 skin incompatibility. It seems to be because of the lack of mipmap thingy! I think this means that there are no obvious incompatibilities for 7.2 that I know of right now.

On the plus side, this new modding system automatically backs up the original files, as they aren't being touched in the first place.
Also, I figured I should gather this data while re-painting all the tank skins all over again:
Tank skins progress data - number of unique tanks skinned; totals include gift tanks and unused tanks:
American: 24 out of 44 skinned, 55.5%
Chinese: 1 out of 1 skinned, 100%
French: 7 out of 18 skinned, 38.9%
German: 35 out of 52 skinned, 67.3%
Soviet: 34 out of 49 skinned, 69.4%
Total: 101 out of 164, 61.6%

Once the update comes out I am going to make a M18 Hellcat skin,(I couldn't find the vehicle files in the test server) if you guys have any suggestions inbox me.

And about upcoming T29 skin. I couldn't find any Zecora skins yet sadly and going to fix it with the next skin.
Also going to make another KV-5 skin: a brown pony with green mane, well known in Russian brony community as Equi.
