Hey every pony I've just "finished" a new skin for the KV-1s its a Roseluck skin because I thought she needed one, it didn't completely turn out how i wanted it but i gave it my best tell me what you think.

P.S I had trouble with the front pieces of the hull as in I cant find them if some pony could point them out i could fix the skin.

Specify what parts (mark them on screenshot or something) and i'll try to find them on UV-map

On the 1st image i posted you can see some red on the front of the tank the the 2 flashlights the area behind the machine gun port and the side of the tank before the fuel tanks

No wonder it's hard to make skin for it.

Great to see I wasn't the only one thinking about adding ponies to open top vehicles.
If you need any help (such as lod issues, etc) I have a few mates who also do custom models. Sure they wouldn't mind helping out.

~3400 polys in AJ, while turret itself 1600. AJ, however, < turret+gun+hull in polycount. Effects on ingame fps - unknown, supposedly 2 ponies will not make any noticeable impact on performance. But three? Dunno.

Oh, wow. I dabbled a bit in moddeling a while back, but I'm not sure I hit that high a poly count. (I instead got distracted by animating models.) It'll be interesting seeing how it effects the game, seeing as my computer has heat issues that lags it down as-is.

any tips or tutorials for making tank skins, im using Gimp. or is it just trial and error to figure out whats what!
