Glad to see you back LMPants.
Great model you have there. As always
But it's not mine.. i mean not complitely mine because..
Ah,I guess it's one of this "Shame on me" times. Because base pony model without tail/mane'n'stuff was made by KP-ShadowSquirrel and obviously used in GMod pony pack. I honestly tried to make my own base model and failed miserably  being unable to make something as godlike and canon-like as KP-ShadowSquirrel's base pony. And since it was freely shared  for any use - i used it.
So my negligibly small piece of work - make out of base pony model something looking like it's  GMod counterpart i.e. try to make similar mane/tail/textures.
And bones/sort of faceposing with morpher.
Now you can blame me for all the deadly sins. I am ready and i deserved it.
Нет, серьёзно, я заслужил.

Опозоренный, пойду делать эрзац-Eagle3 . На гусеничном ходу и условно башенный,на базе JgdPanther2.

I honestly didn't know any of them were actually made by you.
Found a model pack on deviantart that looked a lot like twilight and applejack, so I assumed you were using those.^^

Anyway, i meant to state you did a good job. Even if the actual pony model is available somewhere, it takes a lot of work to get it from there into the world of tanks client, and that job deserves recognition also.

I got as far as adding the models into 3dmax, but then lost motivation when the "adding the bones" part arrived.

Partially made by me in the urge to straighten darn hands, that is.
There's no point in just using all of someones work - there will be no work for you. No work - no practice - no progress. Someday, i hope, i'll be able to do something better than lower poly similar looking tail/mane or close to original textures. Also thats the reason why i want to move Chaos_Fenix's request some positions up in list - theres no Vinyl Scratch in gmod pack, no sample to look at - perfect chance to prove myself that i worth something, draw mane/tail, think like mane/tail, become mane/tail, make 'em canon-looking from scratch. Not gonna  try to make anything with base model in the foreseeable future though. KP-ShadowSquirrel's one, used in Gmod, is just too awesome, i'll stick with it.

That's certainly a good way to look at it. Always good to improve oneself.
Best of luck with the Vinyl Scratch model then. Hope it turns out well.

new Vinyl Scratch Type-62!

Little bit of a rush job, but I think it turned out ok (the fact that the side skirts are different sizes confused me)

I like it, but it only works with High texture quality, which drops my fps too much, sadly. RelicShadow mentioned that being an issue with mipmaps but I don't understand enough to try and fix it myself - he provided me with a version of your IS-4 skin that works on medium quality also.

I can fix it for you if you like or I can teach you how to do it yourself. Or both.
Let me know which one you prefer by PM and we'll take it from there.

Would be better to just leave the how-to here, as I, and others, run into this problem regularly.
(For that matter, High quality tends to crash my game completely, for unknown reasons.)

I've addressed the issue multiple times already, but the solution usually gets lost in the comments
I'll set it up at my FAQ in addition to posting it here, so anyone having similar issues in the future can check there.

****
Solution to uncompressed and/or not mapped skins:

1. Download & install this program: paint.net
(or any other similar program that can open and save DDS images, such as GIMP [requires a plugin to handle dds] or Photoshop)

2. Open <tank_id>.dds file.

3. Click File, and then Save (shortcut: Ctrl+s)

4. The "Save Configuration" window should pop up shorty. Make sure the following options are selected.
Settings: DXT1
Additional Options: Generate Mip Maps

5. Click Ok.

6. Repeat step 3 to 5 for the <tank_id>_CM, <tank_id>_crash & <tank_id>_SM dds files (if available)

Your DDS should now be properly saved for World of Tanks.

Just want you to know that I'm absolutely loving your German NLR skins.

I was wondering if you had plans to make NLR skins for other nations too? Perhaps american artys?
