The M 24 Chaffee tank has been in service for many years, even now a few are still in service.  The Chaffee main gun was a M6 it was a low velocity cannon that was designed more for the artillery.  The only other use the M6 had was on a B-25 Mitchel gun ship in the Pacific.  I had read many years ago that during WWII a group of about 5 Chaffee's are credited for destroying a King Tiger Tank.

M 41 had a lot of use in many countries as well. It replaced the Chaffee as the main battle tank of the South Viet Nam army, most of the Chaffee were left by the French.  But as pointed out it was never designed for combat and faired poorly in the few battles it participated in.

I thought the M24 was used fairly successfully at Dien Bien Phu.

Do you mean a separate circuit for each engine?

As far as starting and charging, yes.

Want to see some cool M41's

Look up

Brazilian M41B/C - Bernardi rebuild of M41 with 90mm main gun

Danish M41 DK1 - Rebuild with 76mm main gun, turbo diesel engine, and advanced fire control and modern APFSDS ammo

Brazilian Tamoyo MB-2 and MB-3 - Major rebuild of M41 with  Scania turbo diesel engine, advanced fire control.  MB-2 had 90mm gun. MB-3 had lengthened hull with extra road wheel added and L-7 105mm NATO main gun.

Tried to link pics but so many of the links were not allowed so probably best to just google the names.

As you said we don't really know which is correct.

Why isn't there the M41 in the American Tech Tree? I haven't spotted it as of yet. Why is that?

I cant see a Walker Bulldog at Tier 7 or 8, unless they add a model with the 90mm Cockerill gun
